Excellent work Sooryagaythri. 👏👏Too nice of you to present this pearl of Malayalam film song in your iconic flavour for us👌👌. As rightly pointed out by Sooryagayathri most of the Malayalam film songs are raga based and if you listen to them you will get the gist of the raga and it is easy for beginners to appreciate tougher classical compositions later. Ahiri, the raga in which this song is based up on, has an appealing impact on the listener when rendered by Sooryagayathri. Her video “Panimathi …” is the best example.. It was excellent in her recent Rajamundri concert as well. I am lucky enough to listen to this raga on Veena and Guitar by Sooryagayathri. Indian music gives plenty of space for bringing out the Arstist’s contribution to the composition. That is one of the prime reasons why the classic compositions did not short live as mere imitations. Soorygayathri has brilliantly utilized this window in all her works and concerts so far including this tiny “Shorts…” which makes it stand out. The facial expressions and choreography superb!! Love to listen to the full version if at all there to follow. Good luck to Sooryagayathri and team to do more🙏🙏🙏
