The only thing I remembered from watching this movie. Was going to the dollar theater with my dad and this lady screamed out loud because there was a rat crawling around. Later on my dad freaked out because he felt the rat near his legs. That's it. That's all I remember.
The weirdest part of this movie is that my brain latched on to extremely random parts of it so that 6 or so months ago when I randomly chose a children's movie on Netflix to put on for my cousin, I found myself going "Oh! That's where that scene is from."
I was more confused about Raymond Reddington from The Blacklist (13:25), being in this movie like wow, he's an amazing actor but this movie sucks lmaoo
People I know usually seem to have trouble with the idea of having the power to do literally anything through wishes, because you have to be very literal and specific. But you don't. You can simply say something along the lines of "I wish that everything I wish for, as long as I live, will happen exactly as I intend." You basically would have complete and total control over everything. Nothing could ever go wrong, you would have the power to do the impossible with no consequences.
I've been thinking of this movie on and off since elementary school and could never remember the name of it. I feel as if a curse has been lifted from me.
@@qwertyiuwg4uwtwthn I had a friend in elementary school whose parents were part of the production. To be honest, that was many years ago, it was more likely made of resin. From what I remember, I was told they made multiple copies, and the one I held never made it to screen.
@@gator_productions when Jude said “are they they trying to hypnotize us?” The UNUS ANNUS black and white swirl started and the chant played for a second in the background
The only reason I remember this movie is because it was the last film that my family rented and never returned to a Blockbuster store. I still have the DVD in my home and it says rental in big letters on the bottom. It was my family's weapon of choice in aiding Blockbuster's downfall.
I loved this movie as a kid, it's just such a fun concept. I watched it soo much and the thing I remember the most is the "Helvetica" song. It's so catchy.
I remember watching this movie. Now, my Memory for movies is normally top notch for only needing to watch it once to remember pretty much everything. But this.....I’ve got nothing.
I remember this movie because I thought we were going to watch a different movie and until we were halfway through the movie I thought it was an ad for another movie.
10:14 as soon as he said that it turned 11.11 for thows that don't know that time you can wish for soming but you can't just watch time and wait for it you gotta wait for it and look at the time at the right time
Oh man. I completely forgot about this movie. I even saw the title of the video and assumed I had just never heard of it...then you described the plot and something clicked. What a wild movie honestly
I'm gonna make the stone from "shorts." 1:52 balloon boy?!!? 2:30 is my favorite part. 1:30 Robert Rodriguez really likes random letters and the great white bites. Noodles, what are you doing here? 15:38 1:39 because episode zero is over and new one starts. 5:13 drank apple juice and burped
2:45 I swear to god, I must've, on some subconscious level been influenced by them in a cursed work I'm considering making... cause of the way the stuff rearranges itself like the stuff in Big Hero Six I think...
I watched this movie once, probably more or less than ten years ago, and all I remember, is this: 1. There's this city, where everything is made out of square black blocks. 2. The most popular thing is this block contraption, that can turn into pretty much anything. Cell phone, remote, key(?)... You name it. 3. The main thing about this movie is this rainbow stone, that can grant the individual who holds it, wishes. Whether only three or unlimited, I don't remember. I think the main kid finds it in a river. And at the end of the movie, they return it back to the river, so the rock can grant wishes to more people. 4. The main villain is this goth/emo looking girl, who does get the rock at one point. Don't remember if she's the daughter of the mayor/the dude who created the blocky contraption. 5. One of the kids has a very germophobic dad, who wrapped the entire house in plastic. 6. Very odd CGI, I think at one point there's a dinosaur. Or dinosaurs? 7. And the end of the movie, the city goes from this dark, and blocky place, to more of a usual town. 8. I often though it looked something out of a Dr. Seuss book. This is it. I'll see how many I got right.
I definitely feel like I've watched this movie before, but it had to have been when i was like, 4 years old...And I'm 16 as I'm typing this and this video just opened a strange memory chest in the back of my brain
THIS MOVIE! I Only slightly remembered it. I remembered the "Hellvetica" like chant singing. I knew there was a girl named that, and NOTHING else. Not even the name or what the movie was about. I just remembered that intimidating chant, for a character that wasn't that intimidating.
holy crap I think I saw the trailer for this movie. funny thing is the trailer was more coherent than the actual movie cause they didnt do this annoying skipping back and skipping foreward stuff lol. its clever in concept but they needed to make it less random and disorienting
I wish there was a set of timestamps in the original movie or some alternate version where the clips are arranged in the *exact correct order* so we dont have to frustratedly watch the dang thing and *suffer.*
Fun fact: the head of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is actually named Dr. Noseworthy. BONUS FUN FACT: his son is in the band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
