I picked up The Heart in winter by Kevin Barry which I had on reserve at the library which happens to be a shorty, so looks like I’ll be serendipitously taking part, which is the only way my moody brain can take part in these things seems 😂
That absolutely counts!! Oh I totally get that. I'm very much a mood reader as well and very rarely make a monthly TBR. This one being all shorties and my last one in July being only 4 books are by far the exception. 😅
