I know she's technically too old for the part, but it is a damn shame that Funny Girl is currently on Broadway and Shoshana isn't playing Fannie. She was born for that role.

I saw Carol Lawrence play Fanny Brice and she was in her 40s. And everyone looks 10 years younger on stage.

The shadiest performance I’ve ever seen. Sho kills it in Funny Girl material all while a sub par singer is rehearsing to revive Funny Girl. This performance was probably on most theater critics minds.

I mean if anyone had the vocal chops to take on a Barbra classic it would be Shoshana. She shouldve taken over the role of Fannie Brice that wouldve been a delight to see and watch.

Shoshana Bean would have been much better on Broadway than Beenie in Funny Girl. She is not nearly Barbra, There's only one Barbra, and that's that. ,
