Finally someone who doesnt spam crossovers and behind the backs 46 times in one place and call think he is a god gamer (like 99,9% of the NBA youtubers). Its so refreshing seeing actual basketball being played in this game.
@@IzzyMac_ If all your team plays like this, passes the ball, and actually runs plays or moves to get open you gonna destroy your run of then mill left right cheese "good" teams. It just takes a coordinated team, not just spamming the same moves and getting screens from your bigs.
@@bangomargitI agree to an extent but if that was the case there would’ve been teams using this playstyle already and dominating with it. But it’s usually the PNR meta lineup. And rightfully so. But that shouldn’t take away from playing like how you want, it is a basketball game after all so either playstyle works.
@@bangomargit I understand, but unfortunately at the end of the day the left right cheesers are using the meta. It ain’t fun but it’s what works the best in this game
I’m telling you adding a floater and pull mid range with a mix of post moves really did wonders been at it for 3+ years and it opens up your game from just 3s and Dunks like everyone else.
Nahh I love this video, the breakdown of the moves is top tier. This is someone that knows basketball and doesn’t take advantage of the unrealistic exploits in the game
Love it man. My secret sauce is the back RT fade running away from the basket while they’re sitting in the paint with hands up. Always wide open and so easy to time.
We have a really similar playstyle. I definitely second the tip about using less dribbles. Take your time before your first move and try to make the most out of your first speed boost because you get more predictable the longer you have the ball. (Also try to use less behind the backs) To anyone that wants to play like this you really do need to put the time in to learn your combos and every single release for every animation or you’ll be bricking all day. I recommend grinding the 1s courts in theater and try to hit a 75wp at least before doing this with randoms or a team. I also recommend kevin huerter hop jumper for taller guards. It only works on the off hand side but it’s the fastest and creates the most separation in my testing.
The jimmy butler step back is really good to create off of. You can pull back on it and get a nasty speed boost going to your opposite ball hand. If they play up high enough can speed right past them to a mid range shot.
NGF! Finally y’all better take notes how to play basketball! Doesn’t take a millions to score or chuck up a bad shot this needs a million views asap! 🤘🏽
I'm attempting to add the same types of moves to my game. I use some of the same sigs. Great to see them in action in an aggressive player seeing as I am more of a pass first point. I try encouraging my teammates to play more like this also . Definitely subbed and looking for more of your videos.
About hop jumpers, last year i used DBs almost the whole game until the last season that i start working on Normal 2 cause i found it usefull, fast and pretty natural on some myteam players that they had it equipped. Give it a try. I use it a lot for 3pts. The good thing is that both side animations it almost similar so its easy to time once you figure it out.
Great video man, these are great tools for shot creators. You should definitely get into that hop jumper life. If you trigger them with your stick you can cancel out of them, which is a nightmare to defend. It gives you so many options! Can't wait for the Devin Booker package to drop, but in the meantime the Jimmy Butler one stays super tuff. You could try the Davion Mitchell one too. Some of the animations are a bit slow, but there's more to it than that gorgeous fade to the left.
@@NGFKoldbest tip I've ever received regarding hop jumpers is to not only juke the man guarding you left and right, but also up and down... Like, force him to commit to defend the paint with a momentum cross or a speedboost towards the rim then hit him with a stepback. If he turns his hips he won't be able to recover and it's a wide open shot for you. It works extremely well out of the triple threat too!
Demar Derozan is a great dribble pull up I use, its smooth and easy to time both non dominant and dominant hand and I use Harrison Barnes hop step, creates alot of space for me and pretty easy to time I can say.
James harden cross behind the back with Jason Tatum moving stepback is 🔥🔥 or hesi to the right with Jason Tatum side step is 🔥🔥🔥 especially off the pnr
NGF. Thanks for showin' me some new tricks to add to my game. My Jimmy Butler build will love them, but I'm hoping I can do some dumb stuff on my 6'10 big as well.
Personally not a fan of Butler's hop jumper. Gives a lot of space but is too slow for me. Herro's is decent but I dont like it more than Kobe's and Normal 2. I can rock with Jayson Tatum's as well, but I really hope they bring back Devin Booker's
Ik you heard this a lot already but having someone with a similar bag is real nice to see and compare. As for hop jumpers tho stick it out with jimmy. His standing/combo animations are a really good way to mix it up after getting them to bite and overplay the pull up middy.
Liked and subbed. You’re very informative, while you break down things concisely. I’ve been struggling with fading for some reason. Idk if it’s bc I only have a 84 mid, been thinking ab jumping up to 92..98 is crazy
@@NGFKold haha..me too, I figured out if you go 6’5 w/ 6’10 wingspan you still get a 92 3 too. So instead of 6’6 w/ 6’8 ws..you basically gain an inch of contest. So I got 89 dunk, 92 mid 92 3pt..it’s a ton of fun.
Dope video bro, its refreshing to see some high shot IQ on display. For hop jumper I use Paul George. Its an instant ankle breaker when you have takeover
Your game reminds me of BlaqKobra. Taking what the defense gives you and not spamming the same stuff we’ve seen for years by the left/right spammers or hiding behind screens.
Paul George has the cleanest hop jumpers in the game. You can chain them into your dribble combos for easy ankles+buckets. Hit a moving spin into a hop jumper, it's truly unguardable!😂
Try the Davion Mitchell hop jumper and shoot to your offhand. It's an insanely fast animation and creates tons of space. I'm not a huge fan of the animation you get when you shoot towards your dominant hand, but it's not the worst.
made a 6'9 Kevin Durant 3 level scorer. I play recs with random and the spacing just makes it hard to get to my midrange. I feel like it's hard to score because the guys guarding me are taller with longer wingspans and get contests very easily. It's a little frustrating at times.
I love how he use real basketball moves too cook people. I be telling people you dont need spam dribbles to have a bag or be an ISO god. People be following Metas too much in this game and wonder why they suck. They have no real basketball IQ and predictable cause of it. Great video bro!
Ngf nice man 👍 stop helping shoot like me. My guard has a 94 driving dunk with 96 middy and a 76 3ball and I go stupid especially since they think I’m gonna rim run. The amount of hof and gold badges I have is hard to count
Also NGL Davion Mitchel hop jumper is insane, there is an animation where you go to your non dominant hand and pull back and he does a james harden double step back but its so fast its almost ungaurdable
Ngf aye bro the lebron step back gives you that same animation like Tyler hero and is a Better moving step back it has a lot of animations for different spots around the court
Kobe has a really well rounded hop jumper and I recently switched from normal 2 to Jimmy, I agree there just isn’t one hop jumper im a super big fan of, it used to be Tatum but they ruined the same side ball hand hop
