Haha things happened so fast I never got my rope around the tree. You can see it still wrapped up around my waist! Oh well haters gonna hate not pretending here. I always tie in just didn’t get that far that day!
Wow! This is one of the best self filmed hunts I’ve ever seen. Definitely the best one I’ve seen filmed in Maine! What a beautiful stand setup, and what a shot.👍
I just watched this again because I have a problem and am obsessed with Maine deer hunting and videos but thats not the point. There are a lot of star worthy moments in this video people might miss the first time around, including but not limited to: Your face when you first realize deer are running around you, the follow up shot while filming, and "I'm just gonna lay here for a bit" 😆 . Excited to see what you all come up with next
Totally understand needing to rest after that massive adrenaline rush, then defending 40ft, and hoofing it through tall grass. I have never even heard of sitting at 40ft. Guaranteed they can’t smell you up there. Love to see the warden climb that stand to ask to see your license 😂 (I know, he will just wait at the bottom, still funny)
@@huntingme You're so blessed, cherish your dad and these memories every chance you get. My brother and I miss our dad everyday but we will be hitting the ME woods this weekend and he will be with us in spirit!
Sat all day mid September for a buck already this year. I’ll do all days sits in October often as well if I have the right spot. Of course November 15-30 is my favorite.
I had a pretty good look at him both times and was confident it was the same deer! I waited to long on the first shot and he was into the alders by the time I shot. Probably hit a limb.
