I have always loved a shotgun. In my thirties I kind of got sucked in to the tacticool thing with tricked out firearms. Now I'm back to the shotgun. I bought my first one at 19. It was a Mossburg Mavrick 88. It is the one that is still by my bed. I think they may be the best all around firearm that can be had. Great to see you making another great video.

I have 80 rds in my shotgun load out. Just use a fanny pack. Easier to load and carry way more shells. Fanny pack holds 70rds. 5rds in my side saddle and 5 on the butt stock. And 7 plus 1 in my shot gun

I live out in the country side so the shotgun is very useful i own 410 bore 20 gauge 12 gauge and I just love them have hogs dig up the land and the dispatches them I've been told many times to get an AR 15 but my shotguns 22 lr and my 30-30 take care just about everything out here great video God bless you and God bless everybody out there

I have a double barrel coach gun and single shot 12 gauge. sold all my military looking rifles and shotguns except for my sks and rebuilt m1 carbine. tried to sell the m1 but no buyers. sold most of my semi auto pistols also and kept my old school revolvers. kept lever guns and bolt guns and feel safe where i live. dont mistake me selling my stuff for a anti ar mindset. i just dont feel that i need those anymore and sold them to younger folk.

Nice video thanks for your perspective. I live in an urban environment in New Jersey and I’m 25 years old and I’ve never owned a firearm. I’m still deciding on either a handgun or a shotgun for home defense/shtf purposes.

Sadly, I think New Jersey isn’t the friendliest of “gun states”. Definitely do your research for legal purposes. As far as which to go with, shotgun or handgun….. that’s tough! I think both are great options for home defense. Both have their advantages too. If it were me, and I could only have one, I would choose a handgun. It’s just a little more versatile. However, best case scenario, get both! Best of luck on your search!

Great video! One of my activities to try on my “to do list” is to shoot with a single, double and triple barrel shotgun. I want to see which would be best for a zombie apocalypse.😅

I have seen a double barrel shotgun, Side by side. With a .22lr barrel underneath. It was meant for rabbit and squirrel hunting. But it would probably work well for zombies.

@EstiloSkateboards you must mean with a semi auto shotgun. Or you are short pumping with the pump. Usally its the FPS that is what have to be concerned about on a semi auto.
There is some truth to that with imported shotguns. I had a citadel that would shoot bird shot just fine but put 00buck or slugs in it and the action would lock up and you had to mortar it to get it unlocked. I sent it back. Never had problems with Mossberg's or Remington's. That experience causes me to never recommend imported shot guns. The Stevens had problems with the spot welds on the action bars. They fixed the issue but how many are sitting in closets just waiting to fail when needed.
