Great video Thankyou, i just got an xa20 but it does not have the handle and mic controls. do you need a microphone with its own power without the handle? i have a small shotgun mic that runs off an slr but the video camera shows a symbol and says mic off?
Yes, you could do that. You could use the cold shoe mount on top to point one at yourself. You could also point the shotgun mic at yourself instead if that suited the situation.
