The clan urbie with 2 heavy large and 2 ER medium lasers has quickly become one of my favorite little mechs. It absolutely DRILLS mechs. I mean, every urbanmech is my favorite mech. but that one is more equal than the others.
@@tearstoneactual9773 I've no idea what Bright is, but "more equal than others" is a reference to how fascism expands in the classic Orwell book. I just made a funny goof with it since I love all my angry trashcan mechs equally.
@@colinmartin9797 It's directly a reference to the reality of communism, wherein every citizen is supposed to be equal but in truth the vast majority are considered equally disposable to an emergent ruling class which makes all the decisions and reaps benefits the rest of the population do not. Insert cleverly worded comment on the similarity to every other system of government here.
I like playing Urbies as well, so I know what they can do. But at the same time when I'm in an Assault and facing 2 mechs, one of which is an Urbie, I'll concentrate on the other mech, as the Urbie is just so damn tough for it's size that the other target invariably is either the quicker kill or the bigger danger in terms of firepower I want to see removed from the field.
"I haven't played an Urbanmech in a while." When did you record this, exactly? Because you have an Urbanmech in your MW5:SS playthrough at the moment. Also, I still prefer the Urbanmech P-67, which I call "S.A.M." - for "Swiss Army Mech" - because it comes with 2 Ballistic, 2 Energy, & 2 Missile hardpoints. I tend to go with the usual XL engine, Clan-Endo, & Clan-Ferro, as well as a 135 or higher engine with no jump jets. For the weapons, I go with a pair of the AP Gauss rifles, a pair of ER or Heavy Medium Lasers, & a pair of MML-3's or 5's, just so I have good missile offense at any range.
Honestly Urby, 180 never feels worth it. +2 weight for very little speed upgrade... and faster turn speed...? On a mech that can 360? Just go 170/175, with the extra heat sync, is 1 ton saved for 2-3 less KPH~
