People complaining, he didn't cut down a rain forest. He was asked to remove trees by the owner. This isn't a wildlife preserve, its someone's private land. They can pave it if they want, and pay for the permit to do so. He was hired to do the job. It left some nice mulch, helps with weed control. Those trees are invasive species. A lot of that was overgrowth and would become a fire hazard. The vandals doing damage on her property will find it more difficult to hide in the brush. Find another channel to complain on. Its not working anyway, and Its already been done.
People complain about trees being removed but they dont complain when they have toilet paper to wipe their caboose with or furniture to sit on or having a roof over their heads.
The owner will be able to see any trespassers mor clearly now. Good job. Also letting light in to allow better growth for proper trees, rather than weeds
I like watching your vidoes becouse 1. You explain things your doing why & with what equipment your useing. 2. You do normal speed & speed up the video 3. You put the camera in different positions so we get diffent views of what you are doing. 4. You do and show us in most cases good before and after shots of the job. 5. You talk about the land owner with you giving there ID away and tell us why they hired you.
Do you realize that this is going on all over the world in a bigger scale ? Deforestation is no joke ! It maybe fun to watch but think of the displacement of all the animals that this cutting of trees are doing. Now where are the birds going to nest ? Where are the small animals going to hide from predators ? Everyone thinks this is cool, but think about what is really happening before you o.k. this. !
"Sorry ma'am, there was no vandals to be found after Munchie had a little talk with them .Munchie said when he showed up ,they dispersed in all directions" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😜
When you get a chance, you should get a drone to show the aerial perspective (it would show the great clearing job you do ). If you were in PA, i would use you.😊
we have a huge monster mulcher that runs on a 400hp case 340 magumm wich it a big monster of a tractor and mulcher plus we have a 24 foot hla blade too for it but usually we put it on the komatsy 320 loader
Your parents place is nice, remembering the work you did on their pond and dock last year. Enjoyed watching this one. I really like the time lapse. Yeah, it was so thick you disappeared from view a couple of times.
This is one of your best videos yet. Man that machine is made for that type of terrain. Keep up the good work, and by the way, I personally enjoy the fast forward parts of your videos, it amazes me to see that much brush disappear that quickly.
Nice job Devon, looked fairly simple project, high ground, dry ground, smaller trees, sharp blades.what more could you ask for.great video as always.just keep doing what you do best.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Davin, great job, and looks so much better. Think this job was worth the trip, and hey, stay overnight at the parents Home.. Take care, and safe trip home tomorrow..
I made the mistake of planting one of those privot bushes beside my house in the corner of a flower bed. It got about 10 feet tall and then the roots started sprouting. So most of the flower bed is now privot in different heights and it spreads into the yard. I cut the big one down and dug the stump and as many of the roots out as I could and got rid of it. The roots I didn't get continue to sprout and like i said most of the flower bed is privot that started spreading into the yard and nothing else will grow because the privot grows up so fast and thick it kills everything else. I've tilled the area and removed roots twice and sprayed high dollar brush killer on the area several times and it still comes back. So I just mow over it now when I mow the yard and don't have a flower bed there anymore. Wish I'd never planted that crap near the house. Its as bad as the wild cane that grows and spreads like crazy.
I’ll take that clear cut field any day over the monster 2 story houses they are building behind us. They cleared 120 acres and left a small buffer. We use to see all kinds of wildlife now noise and traffic.
New subscriber. Found you from the video of the guy trying to stop the "barrier" mulching project. That mulching looks so satisfying. I could use that bugger for a few weeks this summer. LOL.
Go in high , slow lower the blade, raise blade go forward, lower blade...puts momentum of machine to work for you. As the Air Force used to say..."Aim High".😳
Really fascinating to watch. Amazing your equipment is able to do. I would think your videos would really benefit from some drone shots especially before and after.
sounds like you adjusted the hydraulic oil feed pressure to the motor. the "rpm" controlled by the pump on your machine, the harder you rev the bobcat, the faster it will turn.
I've heard that if you start taking your hayfever medicine before the pollen is full blown, it works better to keep the allergies manageable. I recall you had very bad sinus problems before. Great video!
Good job! Nobody will be hiding behind those trees taking pop shots 'cause they are GONE! May I kindly suggest that you work on the music in the background? On the fast forward portions, some "off to the races" music? In slower areas, something soothing that doesn't repeat itself over and over? It would be more enjoyable listening when no dialog is spoken. Thanks for considering the change up! I enjoy Big Munchie the most and also the swampy areas. Thanks for sharing with us! Love your channel!
this would have been a great job for the disc mulcher. This was a great video and I love the drum mulcher, but the disc mulcher is the new fun toy. I have a small wood chipper. t's fun to use. It's so amazing what your mulchers do. I don't need one, I can't afford one, but man, it's fun to watch!
That has to be the best use for a Bradford pear, turm 'em into mulch. Had a medium-sized Bradford in our front yard for a few years, and it turned out to be a real nuisance. Continually sprouting new shoots anywhere the roots were too close to or exposed at the surface. Seedlings popping up all over the place, too. And then, one day, 1/3 of the tree simply broke away from the trunk, completely ruining the shape of the tree. Had to cut it down, and we will never plant another! Seems like Bradford pears are a rather brittle wood as I have seen dozens of examples where large branches have broken or snapped off!
I work at a tree service, and we hate Bradford pears. They are a man-made abomination, hyper fast growing, hyper dense, and they cannot support their own weight. If you cut 1/2 to 1in into a Bradford the limb will usually fail,, a real hazard to climbers. Also you can't burn bradfords because they smell like wet socks. Original the Bradford pears were made to make a super fast growing pear tree...only problem is they didn't make pears. You see so many bradford, because housing developers love putting them in, cause you get a good looking tree in very little time. Only problem is they start breaking limbs if you don't do yearly upkeep on em.
Maybe a drug lab close to there and they are trying to get nearby properties vacated. This has happened before in the state that I live in. Don't want nearby properties sold, just kept vacant.
Boy, this video sure brought out a bunch of haters and ignorant comments. It’s funny that all the people who know nothing about land management, and who’ve never run a mulcher, think they know more than the person who does it for a living.
How about marking property lines, checking property codes, going to meet the other property owners and talk about it. Many people leave a mess, cross on to other peoples property without asking, and figure since a Police are not looking they can do what ever they want. We dont know the whole story. people so afraid to talk, solve concerns before they start digging or cutting. the guy running the machine should contact to neighbors and tell them hat he plans to do. might get some more business.
