I remember going to McGraw's in Wichita, Kansas to see Toby and the Easy Money Band. When I moved back to California, you gave me a photo of the band. I was so happy to see all of you a few years later when you played at the Gold County Fair, in Auburn California.
Really enjoyed hearing this version! I absolutely loved it. You guys sounded awesome and were clearly ready for the big time here. It's no wonder that Toby would shortly get a record deal afterwards. Thanks for sharing!
That lead was awesome! Crazy that the baritone was the end result on the album. Was this recorded in a studio live? Was this part of “Toby’s demo” that he took with him to Nashville to get signed? I wish more of his early works would come out of the woodwork, I recall him saying he wrote 50 songs prior..
