Should Air Jordan 11 Retros Continue to Release During the Holiday Season? 

I think they should retro more models in general... 16s, 18s, 21s, etc... but I don't think they'll move away from the holiday 11 simply because Mike holds it in such high regard. I also think the holiday 11 gives nike/Jordan Brand a unique grip on the sneaker market during the 4th quarter. None of the other brands seem to have such a bankable holiday promotion.

Gotta give us the legend blue 11 in 2023 at least. That’ll definitely be a super hyped release and a great way to cap off the holiday 11 run.

Jordan brand should put the 11s in vault for a while when the originally started the holiday 11 release back in 2009 when I was 9 years old in 2009 I also remember the dmp 11s from 2006 I was in Kindergarten and 1st grade in 2006 when I was 6 years old in 2006

Imho I think JB should release the columbias an put the 11s in the vault for about 5yrs. to kinda let us miss them a little bit an then bring them back

I honestly think Jordan 11’s need to stop getting retroed every year for the holiday make it available every five or six years and do it like how it was in 1995 to 2001? When multiple colorways was coming out each month until it’s time to retro again in the next 5-6 years Retro more Jordan 15-23s

As a young Jordan shoe fan I gotta disagree. Salute to you OGs, but we just getting the opportunity to build our collections. 11s are my favorite Jordan and aren't released as much as the other signatures (lows and highs only once every year), so I think it's perfect. Everyone hypes up the other signatures or they get special collabs (1s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 12s, etc.), so I appreciate knowing I'm almost guaranteed to get something good in a high or a low. I hope they continue to retro them as the main problem I have is resellers. If it wasn't so expensive to get earlier models maybe my viewpoint would be a bit different, but paying $1,200 + just for a pair of Concords and Breds ain't it

Only OGs sure but i would like to see them switch it up. Im glad they droppin the Chicago 2s after Xmas. Even tho i got my pair already from an early drop they need to start retroing more OGs outside of just the 11s. I dont have a problem with it just as long it's actual OG 11s.

I know This not a popular opinion but I hate the high cut patent leather. Makes the shoe look clunky..the lower cut gave it a more sleek look.. I know thats blasphemous cuz it ain’t the OG.. I’ve bought the holiday 11 every year since 2012..almost never wear em anymore

Yes they need to stop I would rather a million pair of Jordan 1 bred release for next year holiday. What they might do is turn all Jordan low into highs so we might get a white UNC high next year

I totally disagree with you. The Holiday 11s release is like the honey baked ham we eat in Christmas Eve. Since Nike & JB started the 11s release in 2009 with the Space Jams it has been a success and shouldn’t stop. Everyone patiently wait for the Holiday 11s release. Keep it going!

Nope…Cherrys are a lazy release & they’ll just swap the red for whatever each year after next year (Columbias) then maybe a new Gamma/Cap/Gown. The 11 isnt what it used to be unfortunately. Not for me bcuz the Concord still is the greatest shoe of all time IMO.

I think the holiday release should be OG releases like Chicago 1, bred 4, white cement 3, etc. Things that should be the core of our collection and be more general releases.

The holiday jordan 11 release started around 09 OG heads will say 08 either way it’s been going on for the past 13yrs I do believe it needs to stop for at least 10-15yrs to bring the hype back up I’m tried of seeing a jordan 11 every Christmas season

I think it was cool for a while but it's overstayed it's welcome imo. Highlight other models for holidays and other models in general. The Jordan line isn't only 1,3,4, and 6 lol.

At least the holiday 11's are always general releases well to me it feels that way i always can cop a pair but not pairs like the lost and found 1's smh. So in my opinion keep them coming, got the breds, concords, space jams, all original colorways with no problem they made plenty of pairs. 2023 rumored holiday legend blues will be easier to cop and they're straight 🔥🔥

I feel like the last few years have been not much to be desired imo. I stopped buying or even being interested in the holiday releases after the breds came out.

Everyone is forgetting about that clean OG Cardinal 7. I think that the 11 is such a popular shoe that there is no way they stop releasing them during the holiday. I have never been a Jordan 11 fan but business is business.

If there should be any switch up, maybe if JB retro releases a different OG colorway each year (ex: MB 4’s one year, Olympic 7’s the next year, etc) But I wouldn’t be mad at a mid top version of the UNC and Georgetown 11’s.

I would never buy more than the retail price. So this yearly thing is good whether I get lucky to have a pair or not .

Yes! I like it because it’s nice knowing that we may always received a Jordan 11 OG, which I believe they rotate between a new colorway and an OG colorway every other year…

I personally think it is a good milestone every year ... the point is about the correct selection of the colorway. We have 7 different highs that I can consider game shoes so those could be the ones plus one two or three others per year. Less but better releases. But this is a fan approach not a corporation approach

I'd like to see some other types of colorways. Like white patent with a black upper. Use a little more imagination. The more traditional colorways have been really boring for years now. If they just swap colors on the lower area, they might as well stop making them.
