We have one of the older Matterports and it's so slow to do a scan such that we rarely use it

Copyright issues prevented us from using some of their materials. I am however, discussing a chance to review their camera system so I can really demonstrate the results and how the camera works.

cool a new generation of cameras to market to a new generation of photographers, right after these suckers sign on as partners then it will be marketed to real estate agents and architects and put all the new photographers out of business, and the cycle continues.

This camera requires a photographer to operate it. The camera isn't something that can work by itself. Also, it's a very different segment of the market. Architects require both images for marketing purposes and potentially require 3D scans too. They can't use a 3D scan to effectively market their services in the same way as a well produced image. This is not about replacing anything, it's about supplmenting existing services.
