I would like to think that our team is respected because of Brind'Amour (who doesn't get the respect from those keeping him out of the HOF), but you get my point. He is a great coach that players love to play for. I am not sure if Jarvis would be the same player without Rod. I will die on this hill.

I prefer the underdog role. We don’t have solid net-minding and that will continue to plague us

We have solid net minding. Let Kochetkov do it and it's solid. Let Anderson do it and you lose to the Rags. On an Anderson error.

@@stephenlucas5130 we don’t have the net minding to get us to the finals, and furthermore, our lack of scoring exacerbates that issue. Rest assured, though, the goaltending is not the only issue. I’m more concerned with a stale offensive scheme that may work in the regular season but goes dry in the playoffs. We also lack physical and mental toughness against teams like the Rangers and lightning and we are predictable when in the offensive zone

Even with all the cap space and whoever big name for agents are available next year Carolina hurricanes owner is cheap and will always be outbid by others
