@@NinjaKatzKool maybe if you had every customization option possible, it would be too much data to load in unless you had a god pc? and the game loading in tons of data like that, also considering the tens of thousands of other players maybe having a ton of data like that too, could do something to the servers? just a guess
They should also give back free chat and call vote If i get a coin for every time I see a cheater but can't kick him or tell people about it i would be a millionaire by now
Steam support told me they dont help with deleted items damn (Please note that Steam Support is unable to assist you with restoring deleted items. Deleting an item is a two-step process with a confirmation dialogue box before the item is deleted. Be sure that you only delete items you are certain you will never want in the future.)
Each and every inventory should have at the very least, enough backpack space to have one of each weapon, + 3 extra backpacks, for plenty of room for cosmetics and utility items like spell magazines or contrackers.
Right? Why are we "punished" for having weapons? I can understand cosmetics and extra items, but I don't see why a F2P or paid player has to sacrifice so many slots just because there are a dozens types of wrenches or rocket launchers.
A really simple way to fix the problem is to give f2ps the ability to craft backpack expanders. It should cost a good deal to not undermine the value of buying them, but being able to carry more items without having to spend a dollar would be very valuable
I think the real problem is that there is even a limit to what you can hold. They should just remove it or increase it by a lot so unless you are buying 10k jerate you shouldn't runout of space
I know this idea I have probably isn't in Value's best interest, but I think Players starting out should have enough space to have 1 of every weapon they can get (Not including promotional items) and maybe 1 extra page as well for when Halloween or Christmas comes around for some more stuff
New idea, you can retrieve items that you're deleted in the past if you send a report to steam about "accidentally" delete the item with a reason of still new to the game when you delete the items
The biggest achievement items i lost are ones that are cross promotional and directors taunt, i use to hunt achievement for hats it still hurts alot and wonder why i did that.
@@theghosttm8245accidentally deleted my scotsman's skullcutter and now i have 1 refined and 1 haunted metal scrap, i will probably never get that skullcutter back
Achievement items shouldn't count for inventory space. There should be an extra space for every achievement item in the game, including the ones you can't get anymore.
I don't even remember how but I pretty much had the upgrade to premium the moment I got TF2 so I never knew this was actually something people have to do deal with until I played on an alt account
Honestly. Why don't crates and cases stack? It would be far less annoying if they did. And Honestly achievement items shouldn't count toward spaces lost.
I've been on that side before and man, it sucks so much. I haven't destroyed some exclusive cosmetics (thankfully), but it sucks deleting a good weapon just for a new weapon that may or may not be absolutely dreadful like a pomson.
I only deleted my mercenary badge back when I was a F2P, but that doesn't change the fact that it still sucks I deleted mine. Maybe I'm gonna try to contact support some day but I heard they don't give your deleted items back anymore.
I say you should always have the default version of a weapon or cosmetic once you get one, unlocking it if you will. Meanwhile, the specific one in your inventory is unique. So stuff like paints or unusuals take up inventory space while standard versions don't.
Yes, I scrapped my Haunted Metal Scrap and my spellbook pages when I was F2P and I regret scrapping the scrap because I adore the horseless headless horsemann's headtaker, one of my favorite reskins and I wish I didn't scrap mine
I just think a simple ui change is needed to make them aware of achievement items being unsalvagable after deletion through a pop up when they try getting rid of them
As someone who has access to the larger inventory and voice chat in game because I bought stuff. I think forcing free to play players to be mute and restricted to such a small inventory is dumb and makes the game in general worse. Because now some of your teammates can't make call outs, and some may even have to focus on only playing one character because they only have the space for loadouts for one or two characters.
I HAD TO DELETE MY GIBUS AND PYROVISION to make backpack space for more weapons , sad 😭, I was new , I didn't know that gibus is UNIQUE to you and the one which you get can NEVER be gained again after deletion !! 😢
Never again will I see MY Pyrovision goggles grace my backpack, and if I want to fill the hole, l’ll have to buy them from others.. I was such a fool back then.
I am still so mad about this because not only did i delete that strange scrap you need for the headless horseless horsemann's headtaker but also a bunch of achievement hats and it makes my blood boil to this day
Man i remember when i just played the game with no space left idk why my deadass thought deleting the only brick can could frickin made the Headless Horseman axe would be a good idea 💀
I remember deleting my haunted scrap as a f2p and years later, i wondered why I didn't get haunted scrap from the halloween achievements and then realized i was an idiot as a f2p
I don’t even think there should be inventory space, but at bare minimum, I think there should be enough space for every free to play to be able to get one of every weapon and every achievement item without deleting anything.
Inventory limits suck. CSGO doesn't have them because of the storage unit system, created out of neccessity. Why can't Valve implement the same thing in TF2?
They are just waiting for you to get premium so you can get more space basically 5$ for backpack space and other features seems like a easy way to make money😒valve should do something or fix things
i deleted my gibus, pyrovision goggles, AND my mercenary badge for space when i was younger. luckily i have an alt that ive owned for longer than my current account so theyre on there with a way earlier date to them which is cool i guess
I was 12 when I crafted my HHHHeadtaker into scrap metal, not because I didn't have the inventory space... but because it didn't seem all that special to me; i preferred the funny Nessie's Nine Iron golf club. I regret it to this day and pray one day I stumble upon a dupe glitch or a new way to gift players achievement items so I can gift myself the Haunted Scrap Metal from a second account
As a former F2P who deleted: - My Merc Badge - My Ghastly Gibus - A Salvaged Crate - Haunted Scrap Metal - Among other things I do not remember. All just to have more space for things I actually would use (weapons) Yes, I think F2Ps should have atleast like 3 pages or so. Hell, just let them have a normal backpack, just lock the "Premium" crafting recipes and drops behind being Premium.
Honestly I do. I deleted my cloak and dagger(or scrapped it) and I completely regret doing that. I completely stopped playing spy because I scrapped it.
I had deleted my Ghastly Gibus and Haunted Metal Scrap before because I was F2P. I asked Steam Support for it back and they did honor my request. However I got the Ghastlier Gibus instead of the Ghastly Gibus.
I didn't delete mine, I put my spiral sallet, the youtube achievement hat and an elite grade that I actually unboxed myself into a god damn Halloween trade up
