What boils my piss is that they actually think they are more important than anyone else!

As a gay man who struggled coming out 40 years ago, seeing Schofield grandstand on telly about it, humiliating his wife and children, and being heaped with praise for his "courage", I can't help feeling a lot of schadenfreude right now. Entitled celebs getting their comeuppance.

Stopped watching Holly and Phil a long time ago childish giggling like school kids and turned up with hangover after awards they are too self important

Holly Whillouhby and Philip Schofield are examples of grandiosity an entitlement at it's best! I'm a HM Forces veteran and don't expect to be given special preference, so why do these overpaid plumped up puppets believe that they are entitled to queue jump? It's sickening and they should be deeply ashamed!

Looked at how Schofield kept his head down as he walked…..and Willoughby covered her face…..they knew they were doing something wrong.

I do believe Holly and Philip have got beyond their station. I've never liked Philip as I think he's very rude and patronising and Holly patronising !!!! Amon and Ruth please all the way!!!!!

As a Canadian I love how scathing the British can be. We rarely see this kind of reaction over here, we could do with more of it. I doubt we would be in the state we're in if Canadians were more comfortable voicing their outrage

They said they went for all the people that couldn't go but no they didn't they went for themselves and used their celebrity status to jump queue.They have always thought they were better than others and have often turned up for work drunk but because it's them they get away with it.Am fed up of their childish attitude.I never watch anything they are on.It was all feel sorry for Phil coming out but not a word for his wife and kids and the deceit that went along with it.

It’s not just about the queue jumping, it goes deeper than that. It’s about two self important people thinking they are better than others. How are we now supposed to relate to them on TV in the morning if they have that attitude.

Holly looked up and realised the camera was on them. She quickly turned and said something to Phil which made him furtively look up at it too. That was the moment they knew they were caught. No wonder she cried all night. Well paid job and all!!!

Phil and Holly lost the run of themselves, they were caught out. I don't agree with a petition to sack them. I think ITV should not renew their contracts, it's time for new talent to emerge or please get Eamonn and Ruth back they were fantastic.

Yes, they should step down. The second lady asked what was going on behind the scenes - it's simply we don't like queue jumping here in Britain (and nothing to do with the fact Phil lied to his wife for 30 years or that Holly is smarmy and smug - we put up with that).

I remember an agent saying Phil Schofield had the biggest ego he'd ever experienced, not a nice guy at all. Holly and Phil are similar to so many other presenters we see onscreen, they don't portray their real selves. TV producers project presenters as godlike people we should all worship and adore.

They didn't want to queue...too important and didn't want to mix with the commoners!

I really do love Kim and have a lot of respect for her. She's been treated appallingly bad over the years by certain TV personalities and I've always found it incredibly uncomfortable to watch her distress when people like Colleen Nolan, Philip and Holly have "interviewed" her. It felt very much like a gang at some point and Kim was most definitely on the outside of it. What these TV people fail to realise is their popularity rests on public opinion and their egos have definitely over inflated because of it. I feel like they have become used to being liked and adored by their audience and have probably never experienced any sort of backlash before. They frequently side with the masses and I doubt we've ever heard a genuine comment or opinion from either of them because they're so terrified they'll offend someone and end up being cancelled.

People are fed up seeing them everywhere... This was the last straw 😔

It might just be that people are tired of them, as often happens with presenters. This was the last straw, and a chance to get rid of them.

I know what Kim means about not believing the person you see on TV. I once went to the Loose Women studios many years ago and I will never forget the attitude and misery projected by the likes of Coleen Nolan and Carol McGiffin. They sat there in absolute silence and ignored the audience, and they didn't even talk to each other on the set. It was a very "cold" and disconcerting atmosphere, and it made me realise all the celebs are putting on an act.

I do not pay for the TV licence tax so I do not watch them. To me, they are little more than bacteria.

Watching them walk past that queue was like watching a walk of shame and they knew it at the time. They are so sickly anyway and the show really went downhill when Eamonn left. Glad you have him doing breakfast. I now tune in from the other side of the planet just for him.

Public opinion is everything. It can make you or break you. It wouldn't surprise me if Scofield was an arse. Imo he treated his wife with contempt when he came out on TV.

They have refused to take any responsibility for their actions which a lot of people have legitimately believed showed low levels of moral decency. Turning them into victims now only emboldens their lack of responsibility

I think it's because people don't like them especially Phil Scofield, that they are getting a backlash for not joining the que Holly has came out to try and defend herself but Scofield hasn't said anything , he's got plenty to say any other time I haven't watched that program since Eamon and Ruth went ,they need fresh faces on that show as it's crap ,can't watch it anymore they are so fake
