I just chopped 10 inches off last week into a bixie style. Was incredibly liberating. Hair grows back. I’m personally experimenting on what feels feminine to me, and short hair is surprisingly really feminine. Don’t let the long-hair-standard-of-beauty hold you back

I just cut my hair to just above my shoulders & I love it. I felt my long hair was looking scraggly. My hair grows pretty quick though. I feel fresh & more sophisticated lol amazing what a different hair style does. Your long hair is pretty how you style it. I guess it comes down to what look you are going for because short hair changes your entire look.
You can always add extensions if you don’t like it. You can pull off any look w your face shape! :) And your hair is very healthy staying on the natural/non blonde side. Maybe take baby steps as they cut it…stop by your shoulder before going up to chin area.
I do think short hair wil suit you and it will definitely feel amazing. I just personally think the long hair gives you a more "cool" look that sometimes helps your outfits look more cool than with the short hair it could often make you look - in lack of a different word - "posh". I think the long wavy hair is your trademark.
NEVER cut your hair on a whim! You sound unsure so wait. You can always "trim" an inch or 2 and see how you like it. Long hair is versatile short hair, not so much. Also short hair needs styling long hair you can just go. Speaking from experience!
OMG I AM STRUGGLING TOO. Do it and itll give us all the push we need. TBH itll be so chic with our style. I did the same in 12th grade and looked like a baby but now we're older stylish mature.
I've recently gotten curtain bangs and layers around my face inspired by Sophie Thatcher. I started with light bangs to see if i liked it and then got more shaping and layers done cos i love it so much! Another option if you want a change cos you can overall keep the length but add some interest and shape/texture with the bangs and layers 💗
I had a very similar experience. As we are all getting older and not having as youthful of a face as we once had, I was worried that if I cut my long hair I wouldn’t feel as pretty as I once have felt. I decided to go through with it and donated 15” to a company that makes wigs for kids. I’ve done this a couple times before and maybe this will be the last time I do it but I felt that it was the right thing to do for me on the inside and my hair will grow long again and I look forward to enjoying it then too!
Do it for the plot as gen z would say! I honestly think you could rock anything. It’ll be feminine because you are feminine and you would fantastic! And I know you did it in grade 12, but you have changed soooo much that a short hairstyle would be a totally different vibe. I vote yes! 🤗
DO NOT CUT YOUR HAIR. I cut my hair short like 10 years ago cause I wanted the Selma Blair punk style hair and I did not look like her lol. I looked deranged and anyways it’s your hair, your choice but don’t 😅

I chopped my hair and let me tell u im still in the process of growing it out and side note I cut it last April and I hated it I think u should do is keep it long just get face framing layers and a sexy healthy cut but still keeping ur long hair! and I think bring ur blonde more up to ur roots I rlly think u would look so good have lighter hir especially since ur tan or were tan ahah!
I cut my hair short (Hailey Bieber short) in October and I miss my long hair!! I had a Lord Farquaad look for a little while. But short hair does look cute with a hat 🙃
as a hairstylist: don’t cut your hair!! go for a brighter honey blonde with long layers and face framing! just have them trim a blunt inch off the ends ❤❤
I cut a huge amount off my hair 5 months ago (from extremely long to a long bob) and it has grown back insanely health and it was so fun to play about with different styles. I did nearly cry styling it short for a wedding right after the haircut though oooopsie

I think you would look soooo good with a short French bob with bangs, like a chic model… very “fashion” but also super cute when you wear a cap and the edges peeking out. I hope you do it! I've been wanting to cut my hair too, maybe when it gets super hot out, idk. So far I've just been trimming it, it's almost even to the first layer now. Thinking maybe I just need a color. 🤷♀️🙃😄
you got the impulse for a reason. Perhaps, your soul is calling for something transformative once again. A freeing or fresh perspective. You could never look awful. Perhaps let it at least gently touch your shoulders, maybe a bit longer. But ultimately think you should do it … follow your heart. ❤️
Yes do it ! Cut your hair yolo plus it will be harder when youre actually old and regret not doing it when you were young plus if you dont like it get extensions no one will know

The earrings! Lol! I have a pair of earrings like that, for some reason they're thicker so it's so hard to put on but they look so pretty!...can't wear them. Lol!

Do the pencil test to see if it would ACTUALLY look good based on proportions. Personally, I love your long hair and yes it does grow back but it would take at least a year. That's a long time to be wishing you didn't cut your hair. xx
don't cut it. you have great hair and there will be plenty of time to wear it shorter once it starts thinning out with age and does not look good long anymore
I totally get why you’d have those fears re the short hair, but you’re still much too young to look “old” and much too pretty to look “like a man” lol. You have amazing bone structure and I think a short cut would emphasize it even more. Try it ❤😊
