Payton what’s your price range for seo offerings? I’m somewhat new to seo but would like to learn more and offer it. Wondering how to go about pricing it as a service.
Misael Rodriguez absolutely! Right now I include reputation management in my seo as a bonus but I also have clients that pay $200/mo just for reputation man. I think you could definitely increase prices beyond that. I am in Idaho so I think I just found the sweet spot at this price range but your could certainly charge more 👍🏻

Great video again Payton, Just watched most of them on your chanel. I have tried to get into Google and Facebook Ads for clients but struggle charging for it. When you say to a client they need to spend $300 a month, how much would you keep for your time and how much on the ads?
Craig Thomas great question! Unfortunately there isn’t really a set answer as that will vary between ads and seo. But if you want to message me I would be happy to show you what I do! But for now, I think the safe answer is spend as much of their investment as you need to to get results that will keep them happy. Then you keep what’s left! The better you get, the better your margins get.
@@PaytonClarkSmith Yes that is what I have done with the two clients I have had. Like you said they did not see investment soon enough and pulled the plug. Think I need to explain things better. When I say an amount to people I hate thinking that they think I am having most of the money when I am not.

Payton, what web design tool do you recommend nowadays for web design. Being webflow developer, freelancer in a future. Individual. Adobexd or sketch? what should i invest learning and money?

Malcolm Alexander exactly! It is easier for me to just map things out right in Webflow rather than mapping/wire framing in another design software. So I just start with the basic structure and then work from there

SRT a background in UX/UI could certainly help but I couldn’t say it’s necessary. I think the best thing you could do is just get more experience by taking on clients! But always be looking for opportunities to learn from other and yourself.
So i'm trying to figure out how to implement a SEO tool for my articles within Webflow. Something like Yoast SEO or Rank Math SEO to help write articles with my keywords. Webflow doesn't seem to have any tools like that at the moment. Is there a certain process/tools you use to do SEO writing in Webflow? It would be much appreciated to know your process using only Webflow as opposed to Wordpress and their wide range of SEO plugins.
I have the same question. I hear Yoast is kind of confusing, but rank math is a little bit better. But, I also hear AISEO is as good as rankmath. Especially if you are using it with Wordpress.

Payton Clark Smith has this course launched? I’ve never seen it? I have a client who wants me to handle their seo and I’m hesitant only bc I’m not too familiar with that service other than strategic copy and some tags.
Thank you for sharing! I just hired an Seo company, they told me to stop my Google ads in two weeks because I probably won't need them after they start working on my Seo. Do you think stopping my ads will be good at this moment? I think what you recommend is really good, do 50/50 on Google ads and seo the first 3 or 4 months.
The first 2 months Google ads, after that SEO because its better for the long run, economically and organically. People don't really click on ads normally when searching for the things they want unless they really need it.

I've just employed a seo company for my start up business & I've got a budget of £500 per month for the next 6 months put aside, so it made me very happy when you said you can normally get good results after 6 months on a $600 - $700 per month budget. Tha k you! It seemed like a lot of money to me but I was very happy & felt like I've made the right decision now.
