My first thought was orange, a good 70's colour. However, one of your video clips shows a blue version with orange/gold wheels with a silver rim. I'd go blue, the classic colour for the car, and orange wheels giving a nod to the 70's. Blue and orange are complementary colours so will work well together.

The Jägermeister livery really fits always! Except in this case. I think blue is more appropriate for the Alpine. The Jägermeister livery suits Porsche´s, BMW´s or maybe Ford´s (there was also a nice Alfa Romeo), but not necessarily this car. As I said, it's my opinion and your choice. Both are beautiful.

The classic color for the A110 is the metallic blue, and looks fantastic in it...however, the decal kit simply doesn't work with blue, so it may look a bit bland on the shelf without decals.

I think you should go for classic blue metallic :) not too fond of the Jägermeister orange

I’d actually go box art on this one, I think it’s more eye catching. The tyres in the different bags are different compounds , softer tyres on the rear, they also have done the same with the springs for the shocks. I built the lotus europa in this chassis, nice little build, enjoy

I dig this car, being the car enthusiast I am, I would paint it British Racing Green with white or yellow stripes similar to the way my uncle's Spitfire was.

In a more serious vein, I was thinking the same thing, British Racing Green would really nice on this car and it look really good with silver or gold rims.

Okay, I'm late to the party. Your fourth pronounciation of "Jägermeister" is so perfect as of you were born here.👍 Umlauts aren't easy. 😉 I would prefer the blue-metallic. That's the colour we saw here on the streets back in those days and on the newer Alpines. Not meaning the last version which they released a few years ago, that had no "character". Or you can get your hands on the fun stickers named "Jägerschnitzel" in the right size for the model then do it in orange.🤣

The only car that should ever be orange is the Bond Bug so it's blue for me. Blue also happens to be my favourite colour so it's no contest really.

Problem of going blue is there is no decal to line the headlight bucket so you would have to mask and paint the chrome light clusters.

I like both colours but slightly prefer the blue. When mine finally arrives i will do both colours as i got another bodyset and wheels from the bay for an absolute steal!!

I will probably get one too this time (was only 99,- Euros, when they sold out two years ago 🙄) and I wanna make it a street version in pale metallic green or maybe pale yellow, similar to the one in your clip. Are the additional front lights, needed for the Monte Carlo version, still on the frame? A bit lazy, they don't include the proper length bumper pieces with this one.

Orange seems cooler on a tiny car but the blue does have a better history to it, still would be orange if it were me :)

Nice Video, nice car. "Jägermeister" is pronounced commonly as you did, but the ä (a Umlaut) is pronounced like the “a” in Apple...quite a tough one. On the fence to buy the car...

At 2:30 the picture of the car is bigger than the box it's on? That got me confused and then I suggest things like do it in the Jun Watanabe Hornet livery and replace the Hornet with the deer head from the Jägermeister logo.

Look at 1:52 of the video he superimposed either the car or the image in front of the box you can barely make out two body posts on the right side of the vehicle.

The default color of A110 is French Blue. However, this orange colored one must be a piece of significance.

In my mind, only a German car makes sense with the Jaegermeister livery (as the actual racing cars that had it, such as Porsches and BMWs), but NOT for the Alpine. Besides, the metallic blue is so perfect for it. It's just right. Even if it's unoriginal, it just looks great. I could never figure out why Tamiya didn't re-re the original rims for those that wanted to do a more accurate build. I got all the bits and pieces, from body, trim, headlights, etc., down to the stickers of the classic original livery for the A110. All I'm missing are the rims, which are nowhere to be found. Sigh...!

Was thinking a Lavender base coat with orchid and honeydew stripes would be rather fetching, bubblegum rims, maroon window tint with seafoam metallic on the chrome and bumpers. And some airsickness bags.....
