Something a lot of people don’t realize is the sick days lol, it’s no waking up and calling a manager and not coming in, or over sleeping, if you don’t show up it’s a massive hit 😂 you show up messed up and then get permission to go if they like you
Wait, what? Medical is now deducted from your pay? That's unheard of among us old timers. Shipmate, let this old grizzled Chief say that the value of service is being rapidly whittled down. What happens if the care you're receiving is the result of injury in the line of duty? Are you being charged a fee for that? If so, the Naval medical care system is irreparably broken.
Tricare is no cost when active I believe, but you do get charged SGLI which I throw with medical because if you were to get badly injured or die in duty that’s the coverage that gets used
