there is one problem now a days and Arizona is slowly becoming California and now even real-estate here is becoming too expensive. Secondly Arizona WAS a low income state but now...its not the case to what it was seven years back when people originally in this state worked to get by with the income they had.

You must put on the scale what lifestyle you want to have. I lived in Tucson, Arizona when my son was little and it was very beautiful, all the parks with swimming pools, the well-equipped libraries and first class schools, I had time to ride my bike every afternoon, we went to the library and even my son went to karate classes in the afternoons. I moved to California for a job offer, and being a salaried employee in California for me was almost the same as being a slave. I remembered with tears in my eyes when was the last time I saw the sunsets with my son and had time to work, study and walk. The quality of life is much better in Arizona, I have already bought a house in California and I am ready to return to Arizona but my son and now my daughter who is a teenager do not want to leave California. It is difficult but it is reality. Any move must be done before your children turn 10 years old....

We just moved to queen creek from san Diego. Less taxes less regulation everything is significantly cheaper. Plus we make similar wages. It's hot but honestly it's a breath of fresh air in az . I haven't met a single person regret leaving ca!

I’m from Phoenix guys, just letting y’all know you guys are welcome. Just please don’t Vote Democrat, that’s ONE of the major reasons California is a horrible place to live with all the regulations and high prices. Us Arizonians will appreciate it a lot, God Bless!!!

I’m just being this calm about it because Gods in charge at the end of the day, I’m trying to embrace it and inform them. Vote whoever you feel will do the best job I just moved from Oregon back to Az and the only reason I did not want to move back was Because of the Republican Party . Best advice is study and visit where you are thinking of relocating. Talk to people. Get a feel for the place to decide if it is a good fit for you as is. Why do I say as is? Because if you are going to choose a new place to call home, make sure you love it first so you leave behind what you didnt love about where you left. You will find your happiness then and have a real home.

Even in Florida it's worse with the traffic, so many other States moving here too. I rather move to Arizona, but Mesa area, but rent first then buy a house. I'm looking to get a vehicle Monday, having a vehicle it's must there. I know they have buses and Uber drivers too, I rather drive my own car. I know bus fare probably little high.

Driving from Santa Monica to Hollywood is a nightmare unless you are driving that late at night with no traffic. But, traffic in LA has become much since you moved. Most people are priced out of the beach cities. I was in Redondo Beach last weekend and home prices start at a million. Rent is outrageous. I am looking to move to Arizona. How is Phoenix?

Yes I love the beach life but its SO expensive! Are you considering moving to Phoenix? Average home price in Phoenix is $400k as home values have gone up here alot. But there are some nice homes you can get at that amount. I do have clients I'm helping buy homes closer to $300k. How soon are you planning to move? I'd love to help you out any way I can. Hello! How exciting you want to move here. Where are you moving from? Unfortunately it is very difficult to get a place without having a job secured here. I recommend trying to transfer your job (if possible) or coming out to interview with employers to secure a job. I believe as long as you have a letter of employment you can buy your house or get a rental.

I'm happy that you're happy but as a former resident of Arizona, I must question your rating of Arizona public schools. That was not my experience. Arizona schools are consistently rated toward the very bottom of the list.

Yes there are some bad schools but Arizona has many great public schools. You just need to research them. For instance, Tempe Kyrene school district is really good, Queen Creek USD and many more. I don't mean to say all schools and school districts are good but there are many good ones! :)

OMFG! I live in WeHo... I REFUSE to participate in traffic. It's FAR TOO EXPENSIVE to live in CA! We're in a $1.2m condo in WeHo that's ONLY 1.5k sq. ft. SAD!!! We can move to AZ and get OVER DOUBLE the sq. ft. in a mansion!
