I had to move from Cary to CLT for work and I miss Cary everyday. I loved it.. The location was amazing.. I was close to Durham and Apex.. Everyone was super nice. I miss my neighbors waving and being friendly
I really love Cary to be honest I didn’t even like Cary until I had to work in Cary and realize what a beautiful place it actually is I was surprised at the restaurants, shockingly more diverse than I would’ve given it credit for but the neighborhood and vibe of Cary is beautiful to me and the location is wonderful I probably won’t leave Fayetteville but if I had a choice and money was not an option Cary, North Carolina is my first choice
Sir Ashley, you left out some things of major importance, including Koka Booth Amphitheater, the great parks and recreation, the Cary Art Center, the Cary Senior Center, the Regional Library, Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve, the incredible greenway system and the annual Chinese Lantern Festival. If you updated this for 2024, you can really shine a spotlight on the new 7-acre Downtown Cary Park. The new park has something for people of all ages and is handicap accessible. It is also the new home for the Downtown Farmers Market. Also, for 2024, the second annual TST7v7 international soccer tournament with (2) $1 Million prizes, one each for the men’s and women’s tournaments, is being held again in Cary. This event, which debuted last year has drawn soccer players, fans and celebrities from many countries around the world. You should have also mentioned that Cary has been either the safest city in the US or one of the top few, for many years. I have lived in Cary for 37 years and I plan to stay here, until I pass away. Thank you!
Just a heads up that the Farmers Market is different from the Food and Flea. The event that you spoke about is Food and Flea, but you showed the Farmers Market logo. The farmers market doesn’t have food trucks, but locally grown/made produce, food, and crafts. It’s every Saturday from 8-12 during traditional season and 9-12 during the winter. Appreciate the attempt to include them in the shoutout though!
Can you give alittle more information on Clayton? I'm considering moving there from south Florida. You give really good reviews. I'm originally from New York so I definitely like your content and information. 💯
The best city in NC for non drivers is Charlotte because Charlotte has the best public transportation. I would recommend living near a lynx rail stop. Of course, this answer is based solely on public transportation options.
Downtown has changed a lot. It is now a popular hot spot, with a new 7 acre Downtown Cary Park and more and more places staying open until late. The is even an outdoor social drinking area, which includes the new park. The park also has a bar.
