The combination of your Kelly is so beautiful, I'm a total kelly person. K25 retourne is my most user friendly H bag and I find the K28 super useful when I can't downsize enough for these smaller bags but I get that they're not for everyone. I hope that it stays in your collection but I'm totally biased. 🙋🏽♀
It’s a beautiful bag and a keeper for sure. Some bags I use less but I’m always telling myself that who knows if these bags will become my favorites in the future. I have Birkins and one Kelly. I’ve got the Kelly recently but I always knew deep down that I am a Birkin girl. I have the Kelly sellier because as much as I like the relax look on a Birkin, I prefer the more structure look on a Kelly. I think, like you, my Kelly won’t be my most used bag but it will stick with me. I’m at the end of my collection in term of quota bags because I use my non quotas so much more, it’s just how it is for me. I feel fortunate to have these bags, I wanted them so much and I always smile when I look at them, even if they are not the most practical.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the bag and I don’t regret getting it. I just need to figure out more ways to incorporate it into my life. I think I really need to order a strap from Etsy so I have a crossbody option.

This is a beautiful bag. The color goes with a lot. I will carry some bag more one your and the next year I rotate different bags. I don't have a Kelly bag. I really love the hot pink mini pochette. Sooo pretty.

I have a Kelly 28 in black gw Togo leather. I use it every single day, I’m contemplating on getting rid of my other bags because I rarely use them. I don’t baby it at all. One day it’ll look like Mary Kate olsen’s 😂 which I’m looking forward to. But her’s is box leather right? I love that look.
Lol! Your response on whether you would would buy it again looked like you were forcing yourself to say yes. Your body language was a lot more certain with the Birkin than the Kelly. Is the YES more bc of the brand and what it takes to get one or YES bc you really like the bag? I’m going to get a crossbody strap to see if that helps me where it more. If not, then it may go up for sale.
I’ve got the black kelly 28 retourne Gold hardware and love it. The sellier is gorgeous but too fussy and tooo formal For the prices of these bags we need to use them. I am team birkin but I have a 28/32/35 kelly 😂😂 all retourne my special order bag I place in December was a birkin 30 again. Purely because I want to use her and get my cost per wear.

The ideal length of the strap should be 95cm !! Unfortunately as you say they do a standard 85cm. Only special orders can have 105cm. But then it is slightly longish ….
Last year I sold a bunch of my handbags and got back a good amount of money from my lux purchases. Every time I look at Hermes bags (the trifecta) I think "Nah, none of them speak to me!" I never actually got to touch any of these or try one on, but I just don't know if any work with my lifestyle. My Chanel double flap in Medium is already sitting in my closet most of the year untouched, I don't want that to happen to yet another bag that costs me $$$$$.

I'm sorry Lisa I have to correct you, you're missing an "É" at the end of your return. I know in english diacritical accents are rarely used so basically no one writes the name of this bag as it should be written so it goes over almost anyone who doesn't speak french heads but this style is called "retourné" not "retourne" meaning is "flipped (inside out)" instead of just "flip" so pronouncing that final E is very important.
In a small size, probably yes. But I’m probably not the best person to ask as I’ve only used mine a handful of times and I’m considering selling mine. I’ve discovered I’m definitely a birkin girl 💜
