The ensemble voices sound amazing. I could experiment with that for hours for different songs. Thank you for this demonstration. It's a tease but it's useful to know what I'm missing out on lol. The only way I could afford one is to part exchange my wife and daughter too. The keys don't work on my Tyros 2 which is why I lost my Tyros 1 but I'm now using an PSR as slave keys via 5 pin din midi to overcome this fault. It does the job fine.

I love that free play option. Dear Lord and Father of Mankind sounded great. I sometimes play in a band and can't use the styles because people go out of time but free play would overcome this problem I think. I got Tyros 1 which lasted 16 years and upgraded to Tyros 2 2 years ago because I can't afford anything newer. My dream is the Genos but the Tyros 5 sounds great.

Fantastic keyboard! I use mine almost every day. One of the best features is the quality and versatility of the Intros and Endings. They are superb - some work brilliantly as full-blown instrumentals in the middle of a song, particularly the Intro III type. My biggest gripe is that many of the Intros and Endings, such as Intro II & Ending II, are carbon copies.

Brilliant video, I own a tyros1 hd and I love it. My musical interest’s one half needs analogue sounding stuffs and I use a DM12 and a Peak for that supported by an Ultranova. But the other half needs a good arrenger synth, and the t1 is still pretty good for that purpose, but listen to this video I think I have to get a t5. Watched some genos videos and (maybe it is just me but) genos sounds somehow empty after t4/t5. Anyway, thanks for the great demonstration, helped me a lot to decide.

Another thing to bear in mind is that Tyros, Genos and any keyboard with auto accompaniments is an arranger and arranger keyboards only really intended for a one man band keyboardist as the auto accompaniments are the main selling point of an arranger. If midi sequencing is your thing I would personaly reccomend Halion 7 as it's only a fraction of the cost and also has loads of sound editing capibilities which are nonexistent on an arranger keyboard.

If you don't use the ensemble correctly, you are better with the T4, he sound better than the dry T5. Oke, if you want work on the DSP's, the 5 sounds like the 4. The special audio styles is so good that you don't find him on Genos. Another problem from Yamaha are the bad organs. I stay with my 4 and crumar, but when i will buy something new, i shall buy always the newest great model.

Hi fantastic tips I love my tyros 5. Could you tell me say I wanted to record a video of me playing my tyros with my p 30 Pro mobile phone instead of the mic picking up the sound on my phone is there a lead I can connect to make the sound more professional? And can you suggest a style to go with the song I am sailing by rod Stewart for me please Kind regards Simon.

Hi, Please help I have external USB that can play on all Yahama PRS but can't play on Tyros 4. Do I need to reformat the USB?

Love my Tyros 5/76. It is a wonderful workstation. Purchased it shortly after it was available. Organ World and Ensemble are outstanding. Believe Yamaha made a bad decision to drop them from the Genos. Thought about purchasing a Genos but like the Tyros5/76 very much.

So glad to hear you're enjoying it. I know many people were upset about 'Organ World' not having a place on Genos so we actually created our own 'Organ World' registration pack that we install on many of our Genos keyboards. Customers have been very happy with it as it gives you essentially everything that Organ World on Tyros 5 had.
