Dear coach EmRatThich, How does the DHS Hurricane 3 compare to the Friendship Battle 2 or 3, also a popular Chinese rubber?

Have a quick question. How long you can maintain boosted H3 once you apply?
@mokgable

I have been using Sanwei rubbers for now and I like both the target national and GEAR hyper line of rubbers. Do you think these newer "hybrid" rubbers out perform the good old DHS hurricane? Or should I actually try hurricane or friendship rubbers? Also do you have a video on sponge thickness and hardness? I have been trying to mess around with Hardness on the Gear Hyper rubber but I don't notice that much of a difference

Hey, I have a question about the neo-version. It does have a pre-glued surface. So should I boost directly on that surface or should I remove it before boosting ?

Is Hard rubbers low throw.....? Kindly Reply anyone..

Tacky rubbers are in fact less sensitive to incoming spin, because the tack absorbs some of the spin. I wouldn't say Hurricane 3 is a bad rubber for beginners. It just requires effort an fitness. If you really want to get the most out of the rubber, you need excellent chinese technique. However, H3 is not T05. Anyone can play and use H3, regardless of skill level.

İt's about your playing style.if you like Spinny and close to the table yeah it's for you

I don't agree with sensitivity to incoming spin. I use H3 because it is less sensitive. The tackiness does grip the ball but if you just give it a little push in whichever direction it will overcome the incoming spin. Where other rubbers not as tacky may not overcome the incoming spin.

pros only play highly boosted H3 rubbers. Is there any H3 version with a sponge which is nearly as dynamic as boosted one? I know H3 Neo is meant to be, but it´s far away from.....

Probably dignics 09c, but it's overpriced as hell

No, the only problem with it is the high ball and the smashes. It is not sensitive to spin, and while it demands a correct technique, it is actually good for beginners to learn the right technique because of this feedback. Also don't boost it because it is going to become more like European rubbers in which case it is not interesting anymore and you would better just buy an European rubber directly

Pro players boost their DHS rubber...

@@luiswen4503 name one, and bring a prove that the pro is willing to take risks. Mind you, its illegal. I play with DHS neo for years now, never boosted it once. Also why bother ? You can't control the boost and everytime you gonna have a different feeling...

I like to boost very hard sheets like 40° H3 neo. I usually put 2-3 layers of booster and once the sponge is saturated you can clearly see it by the huge curling up of the rubber. Then I wait another day or two to let it flatten out and let some of the booster evaporate. It makes the sponge a little softer and more elastic and shortens the break in period. But yes, the effect, just like with the NEO rubbers will diminish after some weeks of intensive play, so you would have to reboost your rubber frequently to always keep the same feeling.
@chebkhaled1985
@chebkhaled1985 4 месяца назад
@@gabbo9795 if you like elastic and softer feeling, go buy a European rubber. Elasticity means more sensitivity to the incoming spin. Also this is what I'm saying, you let some evaporates, how much exactly? You don't know. So next time you will let a different amount evaporates and the feeling will be a bit different....why tye hustle if it plays just fine without the boost
