I think the main benefit of no harness is you get a better arm workout. Yes, your arms get tired but the workout is a big reason to wing in the first place!

Horses for courses.. sometimes it’s nice to ride for fitness, other days it’s nice to use all your energy on moves, and some times you just want to crank up wind super fast to enjoy a long unhooked ride back down 🤙

Without the harness I come in when my arms are very tired. With a harness I come in much later when everything including my arms are tired as I get to ride for so much longer and everything gets a great workout.

As a windsurfers definitely a go for me. But be aware - with the exception of the bungee system - accidentally hooking in on transitions if you go for the longer lines. Unfortunately with handles it’s not possible to attach lines closer together for ultimate manoeuvrability when hooked in. Boom would be the exception. 🤙
