Israel Adesanya should have fought until the very end, particularly after creating a racially charged narrative against Dricus Du Plessis leading up to UFC 305. @ExpressTruth @cfrsports
I'm not following the logic here. Once the submission hold is locked in and you can't get out, it's over. You don't really prove anything by getting choked to unconsciousness... the time for fighting like a lion was 20 seconds previous, when Izzy was actively fleeing from Du Plessis. It's even worse if it's an arm-bar or the like... are you suggesting that you're supposed to get your arm ripped off instead of tap out? What am I missing here?
The logic is simple: Adesanya made the fight not only about race but also about apartheid. When you make a fight about such issues, you don’t tap out, and you don’t turn your back. It’s weak behavior after making the fight about race. Watch Rodtang vs Mighty Mouse and then get back to me.
