Sorry we have not finished the English market materials yet. The four versions are named single magnetic, double magnetic, triple magnetic and super magnetic separately. The difference between double and triple is there is a magnet ring in the bottom of each center, and single and double have no magnet rings, which means the triple magnetic version could align automatically after turning 45°, and the super magnetic version(maglev version) can also do that . And the reason why the magnet are so strong is that these samples' magnet capsules are not thick enough, we have changed that so the final version will have weaker magnet. Thanks for your advice! We are now making final adjustments accroding the feedbacks from professional cubers to make it perform better. You can follow us to get new imformation about it! We will make a detailed introduction soon!
It was some criticism from most cubers who try your cubes, but.... if you smart and think about it, they actually giving to really good tips to make you product better. 1. Include instruction for difference between all 4 cubes 2. Make some of the magnets adjustable or replaceable to let people option to make magnet strength as they like. This two things will make your cubes from "God knows" to good logical approach to product design.
@@jackfpv8904 Thank your advice. For the first one, we will consider it, and because the English introduction is not finished yet, cubers outside China know little about our product, we will make a detailed introduction soon. For the second one, we have considered adjustable magnet before, but finally cut it out, that was under comprehensive consideration, we will explain it later. Anyway, thanks for your opinion, we will adjust these details, the final version will be better!
@@moretrycube6882 you have a good approach to development as you interested about customer opinion. Speaking I'd adjustable magnets. It's may be easier to drop set of smaller/weaker magnets to the box. But then again it's looks like way of replacing magnets is not easy task )
The music, the frustration level, multiple people in the struggle, lube everywhere, pulling pieces from different cubes...THIS VID IS SO AWESOME AND MORETRY IS SO SCREWED!!!
I'm curious to see what the "center piece magnet rings" look like and if they do anything. You didn't find them in the video, but the company said something is there in the triple and super variants, and it's separate from maglev.
What makes The Cubicle's videos stand out is the deep understanding of the matter and some meaningful insights as to how a cube manufacturer can improve. My opinion of these MoreTry cube is kinda similar to the Peak cube. The Peak cube made you come back to times when people swapped springs and took it to the extreme. MoreTry kinda forgot that magnet adjustment has been invented long ago, and made four versions where they could easily do with two, sort of like MsCube.
I talked to GAN a while back about including a logo-less center cap will all their puzzles so they are legal for blind solving. Or at least have them for sale. Was sadly rejected. Hopefully other companies will be more accommodating at some point.
Came for the comparisons. Stayed for the sarcasm. 👍 I wonder if the Steve Jobs packaging approach works for what is essentially a pile of cheap (and getting cheaper every year) plastic. It worked for Apple, convincing their customers that their chunk of disposable electronics was really more like a fancy watch or jewelry.
I personally prefer strong magnets but agree it would be better if there was just one or two versions while being adjustable. We also need stronger competition in the smart cube market for 2022. Hope all companies will start putting more effort in this area, I want to try more bluetooth cubes :).
I think with a weaker magnet strength, the four versions would have a bigger and more noticeable difference. Makes a bit more sense as well, though I think four might be a bit much, I could see three versions making sense, doing the 1, the 2 and the super.
Ayo Philip Wang, has my gan skewb (enhanced) shipped yet? I must know, the gate of the universe hangs in the balance! I swear I will find this comment 2 years later, and hate myself for it.
It's just such a strange move to design these so (arguably) well but have a gimmicky catch, which is literally releasing the same cube with different magnets instead of having magnet adjustments. Gan practically has all the adjustments the TianMa series would need to release a single cube that could be all four of these releases.
@@wanfaris It's mainly on magnet scheme. single : traditional corner-edge positioning double: corner-edge + feet triple: corner-edge + feet + magnet rings in each center pieces (45° repulsion ) super: all above + maglev with multiple magnet rings in each center pieces
dude not everyone can just buy a 80 dollar cube that has all the adjustment features, the fact that companies sell cheaper cubes with small differences like that is super cool. why exactly is that a bad thing? how could that possibly even hurt you in any way?
It's pointless to sell 4 different versions of one cube. I think they should've just went with two, one being Maglev and one just with a screw and spring system and both cubes having adjustable magnets
