Didn't get my thoughts on your Twitter post, but Steve shouldn't be banned at all. People who are saying this just refuse to learn the matchup. Yes he is strong, however he is easily one of the hardest characters to master. I'm pretty sure people who have been playing Steve since his release still hasn't figured out everything he can do as of yet. Smash community, please stop complaining and give people credit for learning and doing well with their characters, it's annoying.
With "He is a bad rep of Minecraft" I meant that he shouldn't be able to place blocks midair. Thats literally his strongest trait and he can't do that in Minecraft, and thats something I dislike a lot
What would you rather do, then? Have him make a line like in the game? That would be a pace-breaker and easily punishable. Some cheats had to be done to implement some feature in smash. This was one of the hardest characters the devs had to make, too.
@@hexospikez741 Exactly f-ing that. And Steve already breaks the pace by just existing, so it's not a big deal, It just makes life easier for non sword users
@@hexospikez741 I use Byleth. I am probably the guy who gives the least ammount of fucks about the block man, but is just annoying how close ranged fighters just get fucked because Steve walls them out for free and 0-death them as well
