The Streets Won't forget... but seriously aside from the normal Fifa skill team memories, that season he carried QPR to championship promotion... I used to watch that weekly championship highlights show because it was on free TV and after that first week, I spent the whole season looking out for QPR championship game streams because it was worth watching for him alone. What a wasted talent.
@hfc not a game went by in which he didnt either routlette two people or do some insane nutmeg combined with some other embaressing action on some big lump of a physical english defender/midfielder. disgusting.
@@nofurtherwest3474very very bad decipline. He disappeared before matches without saying anything and coach can't find him, he didn't train much, eat alot and didn't listen etc. he was a big match player too and gave wonderful performances against big teams like arsenal, Chelsea etc . He is at benfica now and doing normal.
Was Deulofeu that good at Milan? He was the first LaMasia player I followed since he was 15 all the way through to his professional career. I remember him at Barca B in the Segunda division he was the top scorer, literally scoring straight from corners. It was too easy for him.
Thanks for posting this guy so that people who have never heard of him can get a glimpse of how good he was!!!!!! I thought I was one of the few who remembered him from back in the day when he carried QPR on his back; and then later had a stint at Milan. I always thought that he was one of the most skillful players I'd ever seen.
Just looked up his stats of his career. Even in his prime he almost never scored or assisted to a goal. He scored only 15 goals in 221 games and 11 years. Only once he had more than 3 assists in one season, mostly none or one. And even his dribbles weren't that impressive statistically. On average he managed 2 per game, which wouldn't brought him into the list of the top 50 last season...
@@mart_en Thanks for the expert football analysis but you're missing the biggest point my man. We're here watching a player who played for QPR 12 years ago simply because he had such a unique technique and presence. Nobody is here to select him for the premier league's all time best XI lol. He would've played for teams like Barca or Real Madrid if he was capable of regularly producing 20+ g/a with this kind of play style. But obviously that's not the case so you can assume stats aren't really relevant here.
@@tamatama1037 thanks for elaborating. I had exaggerated when I said that he "carried QPR", but, I always believed that if he was Brazilian or Argentinian he would have gotten more highlights. The guy was one of the most skillful players during his stint in England. He and Okacha had that special touch.
What I love about Taarabt's Dribbling is that he almost always does it to get to a position of advantage for him and the team. Mostly forwards or to relieve pressure. He doesn't do tricks in silly areas just to show off.
For me,this guy is the best moroccan player ever, period. I know he didn't have a big career, didn't score too many goals, wasn't really a disciplined guy, but the way he plays was just magical.
@@firstubi938 Ben Arfa wasnt underrated. He was hyped up to be the next big thing but he never fully realised his potential. If anything he shot himself in the foot.
@@beukenphom3680 he only made 8 chances and scored 7 goals for qpr in the Premiership, in 86 games. Wasn't even average. Decent dribbler, no end product at that level.
Are you kidding? I watched him when QPR got promoted, he had his moments with no end product. Kind of like watching a CR7 wannabe at a Sunday league game.
Just half of video now, and I can 99 % are nutmegs. Even Neymar who's known for that, doesn't do nutmegs so humiliating like that. It's just incredible how he always finds a way to pass the ball through his opponent's legs.
Silky smooth skills. He plays with the ball is glued to his foot and sometimes like the ball is on a string and it is never out of his control. Fantastic talent
@@nofurtherwest3474 Reasons lets see 1) his spell at QPR 2011/12 season was one of his best he only made 8 chances and scored 7 goals for qpr in the championship, in 86 games. Wasn't even average. Decent dribbler, no end product at that level. 2) In his statistics he managed 2 dribbles per game in his prime with the QPR, which wouldn't bring him in the top 20 back than. 3) He is very very bad at discipline. He disappeared before matches without saying anything and coach can't find him, he didn't train much, ate a lot and didn't listen etc. Kind of like Balotelli wasted his talent some people criticize Hazard but compared to Hazard was a saint
@@nofurtherwest3474 Harry Redknapp didn't fancy him sold him to us, then when he beamce our manager dropped him Hughes also did, when they called on him he scored or won games or produced skill and threat... they ruined whatever chance he had of making a bigger impact IMO
I'm so proud of him and at the same time I'm so sad for wasting this talent he had the possibility to be a goat but that's never happened ... The history will never forget this beautiful taarabet art

Now you can see that some players are just popular because of social media. Isn't this guy ten times better than Pogba and the rest of of the so called top midfielders currently playing? He seems to have done it consistently and in every game. He has my respect
@@VictorIwunze10bro ppl like tarrabt played football in the streets and we enjoy watching players like this now days players are so boring you have to big fast and stiff we don’t see players like Ronaldinho every one is boring the new football is shyt
As a marrocan we were so proud he did that performance that season in a young age, unfortunatly he wasted his fabulous talent he could be one of the goats🔥🔥😔
He was good individually. Caught my attention when QPR were smashing in the championship. But after half the season in the EPL he barely started. Was not a very good team player. But he's definitely a baller.
Taarabt is very underrated as a team player He was one of the most complete pure 10s I’ve ever seen that season when they got promoted to the EPL he had 20 assists His problem was not that he was individual It was because he didn’t take his career serious enough but as a player he was complete
@@yassineabahrouz5456 his probleme is that was playing for QPR in the mighty PL... They were not so great except for taarabt and when the opponent know how limited your team is he makes you look bad... Not to mention his mentality He was arrogant as fuck.. He ruined his international career also!!!
That's exactly why Spurs let him go. He couldn't do it consistently and was known for being lazy. Never reached his full potential. At QPR he was impressive but disappeared in too many games.
@@eoinforHIT he couldnt simplify his game. Playing at the highest level, a midfield really needs to pass more and move the ball instead of holding on the ball. Unless you are a forward that dribbles and take a shot. Its almost wasteful to hold the ball for a long time. Zidane is my favourite Attacking Mid. Zizou could have dribbled and dances around the field but he knows his role and always release the ball early.
benfica gave him a second chance... he lost weight... got more focus on the game than partying... best dribbler in portuguese league... i wish him all the best and hope he continues in benfica..
@@syamjee7880 You can't say his Football IQ is not high when the guy can come up with solutions in situations that look desperate. But yes tactically speaking he was limited. He plays football for fun clearly
I remember him coming to Benfica, I am a FC Porto supporter. I knew of his fame from my times in England and at 26 yo I thought it was going to be its second coming, in a way Hulk did for FC Porto when he arrived from... Japan. With this talent it wouldn't be hard to achieve glory here. And fans absolutely love talented players who give it all for the club. Think Di Maria and James Rodrigues, these guys are legends in Portugal to the point Di Maria is now back at Benfica for the twilight of his career and Rodrigues didn't come because FC Porto has no cash. It wasn't to be and it really is a shame to see so many talentless players inundating the best leagues in Europe of whom you will never see 1 special move or trick to remember them by, just statistics.
No, he was world class at skill and dribbling, him and Ronaldinho the greatest ever, doesn't mean he shoulda played at top teams and won everything. He had a great career
The way he had his spell on his QPR days, based on how good and short it was, makes me question if he's on PED or not. But anyhow, those days were immortalised already. Thanks for the legendary entertainments, the streets won't forget.
Ya I've never heard of this guy oh man it's like he's walking straight through guys like they're ghosts to him I seriously don't think I've ever seen anyone have that type of skill. Like if you had a cheat code and just dribbled straight up to an opponent and it glitched you right through them.
Me in my little football career..Im talented and all but i dont score too much.Unlucky for me in modern football menagers only look for results and participation..
@@davidaleksic8381 back then football managers / scouts also did that but for example taarabt was able to be clinical enough at lower / younger level and / or people in charge hoped that he would get there over time .. but he didnt yet its the most important thing in football. ronaldinho was showboating a shit ton yet he was clinical af, neymar the same. people shouldnt forget that they dont see this here. also he failed a lot of times / did unnecesary stuff which slowed down their plays, you obv dont get to see that in highlights tho. very talented with the ball but people, especially young talents, can actually learn more from other footballers like müller.
If we compared scoring vs assisting vs dribbling The most important is scoring & assisting But football fans adore dribbling joy for eyes to watch For that we appreciate Messi is the GOAT cuz he merged all aspects.. scoring assisting dribbling
Exactly. The whole video is nutmegs. They are good but the title of the video says 6* skills which are not shown at all. The 6* skill would go to dinho or Neymar
Little do people know that Taarabt could have easily left the clubs he played for and found better chances but he stayed and fought for both QPR and AC Milan and lead them towards better positions
Yeah, people easily get on stats and talking like its easy. Just because its look so. He brougt a tier 3 team into the premier league, playing wit shaun right phillip as target man. Its sad that other premier league didnt snatch him up, all eyez are on him like yannick bolasie. If only newcastle that has that trend partner him up wit ben arfa and shola ameobi up front. He glitches through other players during the era where it burn other if negmetted, its freaking not easy, thus why he fits so much for premier league that does like to shoot between goalkeepers legs. Man, those times were though, roy keano, stam, spurs original dembele. Non players thinks its easy to nutmeggin but if i may remind, cloude makelele warns ronaldinho not to nutmeg him otherwise someone leg is gonna be broken. Not any other skills. Comprende? Most of his entire career he plays wit not so good partner midfielder, he is the support like how milan used he stintly. Honestly i though spurs would need a high flying no 7 winger at that time to partner berba and pavlychenko i think his was, but then realised whom are their owners and supporters, then i understand why. He supposedly destined to be playing some time wit big 4 teams, but sure something is lacking. Yeah 6 rates, should also be only for the likes of robinho, ronaldinho, ronaldo nazario, not the first 3 years of ronaldo at united as well as he is also showboat but no real threat at more dangerous area, not messi, early neymar at santos, people forget how a pro player soul vent out their body after nutmegted on live tv, where the whole world was watching, he did it week after week like he was born from brazil at that time. No matter how you prepare, doubt any messier fans can ever did that. Against the likes of les ferdinand and vidic. You kidding me??? Against earlier prime modric and co. Yeah, easier said that done, he was black as morocco is in africa, just arab speaking man. Good work and footage man.
@@hugofernandes2930 only to whom hardcore fans that watch all league, precisely yes, teams that played in the champions league. But big 4 teams does NOT rely on a single winger or ball player, wit another single playmaker. Remember benfica had this left footed playmaker wearing the no 7, he takes all the freekicks and penalty spot, cant remember his name but he was south american. Big clubs played with say giggs on the left and cr7 on the right, along wit Berbatov up front. Unlimited supply from scholes and fletcher, delicious supply. We are talking about a winger here that stretches teams wide and in the middle, 442 sytems or even 433. Then a winger can easily flourish and hard to be marked. Thats what i called big teams. Everyone know milan mostly consist of old players that past their prime time. Taarabt is like everyone else say in this comment section, like quaresma, wannabe arda turan and benzema, is exactly a winger, but he played before arda and benzema was still suckling breast, but in a tougher physical league, you should see the league 1 and 2 played in england. The tackles are crunchier. Taarabt has played in those conditions and still suffice. Not many has done that before things gone soft. He is pure joy to watch before the era of messi and ronaldo7. In milan, they played him central, wahahaha.

Not every play is lucky enough to be in a world class team , Ronaldinho was basically the same awful stats , usless dribbles and tricks yet people goat him because he was in a world class team and national team
But football is fun. That's why so many kids grow up playing it and dreaming on becoming a pro. Good for him he can make a living having fun. It's a professional job, but one we love to do since we were KIDS, a job people stop to watch. A lawyer plays his Taarabts "job" on a weekend. Even footballers play football on vacation, a lawyer wouldn't practice law in his vacation😂.
You said it like it can't be possible to have both. Plus he almost always does it to get to a position of advantage for him and the team. Mostly forwards or to relieve pressure. No big deal, no teammate would complain about that. They know it's important to have a player like that so they break lines and open spaces when it's hard. A good team has players with different characteristics completing each other. If you want all players to the basic, you'll always have the basic.
Just a french street baller with maroccan roots grew up watching the best french algerian zinedine zidane nort african players always dribble with flair
Nahhh son… he is cold and the streets won’t forget him but if he has 6 stars skills Ronaldinho, Neymar, Robihno, Eden Hasard, CR7, Okocha and many many more players deserve 7-8 Star easy. He can pull off a couple of nutmegs against Fulham and Westham but he’s never really dangerous and barely scores when you really look at it… He’s not even in the “Icon Card” conversation my brother. Nice video, keep it up.
@Caviin_Momo i dont like Neymar neither, but compare this guy with Neymar should be a sin. lol. Neymar lacks of will and motivation now days, but he had won everything at Santos and Barcelona. The last one would not win 2014-15 UCL without him.
@@Peaceoutrelaxation nah, if we talk about best player on history Neymar is hardly a top20, but if we talk about pure overall skill Neymar is arguabily a top5 of all time. Even if we talk just about dribbling skill we cant still compare both. Taarabt's sucess rate is way under Neymar's. A dribbler market value is mesured by his succeded atempts and scoring opportunities created... Dude, even at a street contest i would put my money in Neymar.
For me the most skillful players to ever kick a ball are Maradona, Romario and Ronaldinho! Reason being is I believe skill in football should be measured by a players ability to manipulate the ball. Don't get me wrong coz Taarbat is skillful but his ability relies alot on his natural athletism and mis-direction. Not the same type of ability as the players I've mentioned. Just my own opinion
