Amen & eloquently said Sheri Reike. I feel more strongly about the abortion issue (murder) than the status of marriage according to the State.

Appreciate everything you said, but am deeply grieved that you refuse to discuss abortion. As you said in your "sticky subjects" politics sermon, many policy differences are not moral issues that can be determined as right or wrong. Agreed. So are you saying that the Bible doesn't address any policy issues? I don't think you believe that. Rather, you chose to not address them. Ironically, in avoiding the "sticky" policies, such as abortion and the Biblical definition of marriage, it is my view that your listeners are given the impression that there's no clear Biblical guidance to their vote thinking that God doesn't have a thing to say about the issues that differentiate the candidates and their party platforms. So although their faith should tutor their vote, after hearing you preach on politics, how is that done they must wonder. Joe Biden and the Democrat party fight for mothers to have the legal right to kill their babies... even full term babies... by crushing the child's head as it exits the womb or by ripping the baby apart limb from limb. It makes most people cringe just to hear the reality of abortions. Meanwhile, Donald Trump and the Republican party seek to protect the life of that unborn baby. There's a difference in the two political parties that is a moral one. In my view, the overwhelmingly supreme one relative to a Christian's vote. Who if not a minister of the gospel of Jesus will teach believers what God's word says about this policy difference? Is it deemed not loving your congregation to do so? Is refusing to teach the truth of God's word loving God? I next to never voice my politics on social media, and I long to love those well who disagree with me, but somehow hearing a man of God that I appreciate and respect in so many ways back down on such an important moral issue compels me to speak. Please do the same for the countless ones who can't speak for themselves and for the God who made them.
