My dad had increasing dementia in his later years and I agree, it's a totally different animal. My dad had a PhD and decades of experience in his job. Towards the end, when I mentioned one of the projects he spent literally two decades on, he asked if he had worked on that as he had no recollection at all. Swapping words isn't dementia.

Notice that the when the third caller Nick, had a gotcha moment with Dale that he immediately raised his voice, lost the plot and ended the call. Lots of examples of this from him, no balanced journalistic integrity from him, he shouldn't be allowed to host a show. Most other LBC presenters are much fairer.

The caller is right - Trump has made verbal glitches on multiple occasions but the bar is so low that as long as he can shout it's fine. Biden was tired and weak voiced but he has had a more successful presidency in terms of passing legislation. They also asked Trump the same question multiple times so it was 2 minutes plus 2 minutes plus 2 minutes!
They should have run Gavin Newson, I said that before the election even began. So to all my fellow Brits: get those spare rooms ready you could probably make a bit of money helping some Amercians flee the country.

Basically they think they are a comedian making up and exaggerating a scenario that didn't happen the first time round to be (in their mind at least) edgy and funny. To me and you it fell flat but to this person they are probably sitting being proud of what they wrote, thinking it will get them the likes and comments and basically attention off strangers on the Internet. It's endemic with so many people now, people are so desperate for attention these days they make posts like this to bait and goad people into commenting. As an American, I am all for President Joe Biden! A 90-minute debate doesn't take away all the great and historic things he has done for my country and the people in it.

Our opinion on the US election doesn't matter, we have a strange obsession with US politics, considering the lack of interest we give in European countries elections! It is worth noting that the US public doesn't share the same interest in our politics. But it's important to respect the outcome of the US election, it's their democratic choice and whether you like the result or not, you must accept the result, the same way we do with any other democratic foreign country.

It's not the same. This isn't just about last night. There have been numerous incidents. In general, I think he's too old in the way he thinks and THAT'S my biggest problem with him. If last night he had given the performance that he gave today, the calls for him to drop out likely wouldn't be as loud.

For people who are down on Biden, go and watch his latest rally performance in North Carolina. One debate should not wreck the legacy of an entire presidency, especially when that rally shows what he can be like when he is prepared. The man was passionate, articulate, and he tore into Trump's lies like a wolverine.
@@danmayberry1185 Would Trump really do any better? The president's job is to make difficult decisions after adequate planning and consultation with advisors. Barring a nuclear launch scenario, every decision should be fully considered, and even that response should have been cemented in policy long before reacting to the scenario actually occurs. Stuff like that is what military advisors, natural disaster management personnel, and other experts are for. The president's job is to manage the overall direction of the country.

Biden gave an excellent post-debate speech and didn't come across as senile at all. Debating isn't everything.Trump didn't come across as particularly articulate himself.
We wouldn’t have this problem if the dems hadn’t all decided band against Bernie in the 2020 primaries. He would have gone on to win that election easily and wouldn’t currently be having such a rough time against Trump. But Dems always insist on fighting battles from a defensive position so here we are again.
