this is superior to the other people who walk around asking body counts and other things of the sort. this is actually good vibes and its happy. good work man
A joke is a display of humour in which words are used within a specific and well-defined narrative structure to make people laugh and is usually not meant to be interpreted literally. It usually takes the form of a story, often with dialogue, and ends in a punch line, whereby the humorous element of the story is revealed; this can be done using a pun or other type of word play, irony or sarcasm, logical incompatibility, hyperbole, or other means. Linguist Robert Hetzron offers the definition: "A joke is a short humorous piece of oral literature in which the funniness culminates in the final sentence, called the punchline… In fact, the main condition is that the tension should reach its highest level at the very end. No continuation relieving the tension should be added. As for its being "oral," it is true that jokes may appear printed, but when further transferred, there is no obligation to reproduce the text verbatim, as in the case of poetry" It is generally held that jokes benefit from brevity, containing no more detail than is needed to set the scene for the punchline at the end. In the case of riddle jokes or one-liners, the setting is implicitly understood, leaving only the dialogue and punchline to be verbalised. However, subverting these and other common guidelines can also be a source of humour-the shaggy dog story is an example of an anti-joke; although presented as a joke, it contains a long drawn-out narrative of time, place and character, rambles through many pointless inclusions and finally fails to deliver a punchline. Jokes are a form of humour, but not all humour is in the form of a joke. Some humorous forms which are not verbal jokes are: involuntary humour, situational humour, practical jokes, slapstick and anecdotes. Identified as one of the simple forms of oral literature by the Dutch linguist André Jolles, jokes are passed along anonymously. They are told in both private and public settings; a single person tells a joke to his friend in the natural flow of conversation, or a set of jokes is told to a group as part of scripted entertainment. Jokes are also passed along in written form or, more recently, through the internet. Stand-up comics, comedians and slapstick work with comic timing and rhythm in their performance, and may rely on actions as well as on the verbal punchline to evoke laughter. This distinction has been formulated in the popular saying "A comic says funny things; a comedian says things funny".
Yea, and since I doubt someone will ask me imma put it out there rn, its a photo I took of my animation class during a lockdown. It has 4 of my classmates looking out the window and one is pointing out the window to a line of cop cars outside the school (which aren't visible in the photo sadly).
A girl in my class did too and it’s honestly pretty smart. I consideres doing it cuz I already forget when my classes are and it would be much faster than me looking through my gallery lol
@@mrbaaman it's a bit different though. like asking someone how many siblings they have or their favourite food is surface level. A persons phone is a very personal thing. Many people put care into choosing their backgrounds weither it be a movie they like or their family. The picture they choose tells a story of who the person is. It's nice.
@@pancon9947 bruh it's an image of something they like or they think looks cool. That's pretty surface level. If anything knowing someone's upbringing, aka how many siblings they were raised with and if they're the oldest or youngest will tell you a lot more about a person.
My lock screen has a photo of myself pointing and laughing at me. So every time I look at the time and immediately forget the time and go recheck, he is just like “lmao what a fucking moron” and we both dying from laughter. Never gets old lol
I find it cringe idk why. Like she is the damn daughter of Trigon. She should be a immortal Goddes and one of the most powerfull beings in all the DC mythos instead of looking for a boyfriend.
@@tobeslmao when i was going to buy yoghurt my mom send me a picture of the yoghurt was supposed to buy so i dont buy the wrong one a few months later me and my brother searched for the best lock screen for me and we decided to use that picutre
All that matters to me. Now is that I cannot see the apps on the background. Like that field artwork was cool, but harder to see stuff. So I now go with plain stong red or something
As long as Icons are easy to see it's fine. Also it's your own personal bussines. I have default screen on my phone and pc. But I have to admit I really liked one I had on my older phone. It was man with dark backround in a suit. What I really liked is that icon for that app was a smile. And somehow (purely accsidental) it ended up where it's mouth is. So It looked really cool and you can just swipe to the side to change it. (BTW that smile was a type of smile that band Disturbed symbol has (google it)).
Honestly. I was called weird back in Highschool, and it's now the norm, but honestly I feel better knowing stuff like this is more welcomed even if it's now a days.
I appreciate this cause some people ask about lock screens and they have a “cool vs weird” counter, and that stuff can get biased asl sometimes, so i like the overall respect to all interviewees involved
@@Kimpoy97 to each their own. Castle in the Sky is definitely one of my favorite Ghibli movies. I also think it’s one of the best, along w Princess Mononoke
@@Kimpoy97 nah u wrong. first of all castle in the sky is a great movie second of all they have tons have good movies. howels moving castle, kikis delivery service, ponyo, and the cat returns
Mine is of a mobile discord call I had with all of my friends in a server at once which rarely happens. I made it my lock screen a month or so before one of them passed away and now I can't really bring myself to change it even though it's been a year and a half.
We need more content like this. It shows that everyone has their own interests, and we all have interesting personalities to explore. It's really cool.
@@ScoutTrooper-wu5qi that spot is reserved for Halo 5, that introduced IMO the worst character to ever grace the franchise with his presence. Spartan Locke.
My lock screen is a prayer card for St. Mark Tianxiang. He is the patron saint of drug addicts, as he was a drug addict to the point of his martyrdom. He always wanted to receive the sacraments but for thirty years could not because the priest believed his confession wasn’t contrite, thus he couldn’t receive Holy Communion. He was martyred during the Boxer rebellion when they rounded up 119 Christian to have them killed because of their faith.
I'm with the last guy now, I used to have cars, football stuff (just not players, not even Henry or Pele going on there), etc. All that matters is the background is contrasting enough that I can see all the apps clearly. Like that girls tye dye thing was cool, I'd like it a artwork in my house, but you can barely see the app background
My little sister has me at my engagement party as her lockscreen and I just wanna cry every time I see her smile at it. She and my husband are great friends and worked really hard to put that party together
@@raviolik1273 This comment made me so happy. She's such a special person with so many people who look up to her, it's crazy to remember that *I'M* the big sister sometimes lol. I'm also grateful for my partner who may or may not realize has been the foundation of our little family since the day I brought him home lol. He knew she was important to me and took the time to genuinely get to know her and become her friend. I knew he was a keeper the first time she hugged him goodbye, she NEVER did that with any of my previous partners, that was my sign lmao.
Ghibli lady is my kinda person... My laptop wallpaper cycles through many Ghibli movies like Howl's moving castle, My neighbour totoro, Whisper of the heart, Kiki's delivery service, Castle in the sky, When Marnie was there, Secret World of arriety, From up on poppy hill and the wind rises... Also have many from makoto shinkai movies too...
"What's your lock screen?" Ok so it's just a picture of Whitebeard staring at the camera, however he is depicted with no pants in this picture due to the comedic effect of-
