Should We Buy This Island?

Seminar and meeting facilities with all inclusive pricing for excellent value? Fan based funding in return for shares of stock. Automated booking with Doodle Island Phone app and website? "Doodle Girls" Hosting and Concierge Services? 🤔 HURRICANES. In the past 100 years, Belize has experienced 8 hurricanes that causes any real damage. Of those only hurricane Hattie in 1961 caused any extensive damage to the Hopkins area. What about storm surges and potential flooding?

Dakota is a rock star for sure and just something about her personality the just keeps coming out. I hope she hangs around Bobby she is a peach.

I didn't really feel like Dakota was really interested in sailing and she was just there. Then I saw the Flying Doodles and she was in control as a pilot her personality really came through. She doesn't look like the rah rah girl type but she sure impressed me.

Cool little island. Thoughts of buying? Well, might as well dream big as they say. Only drawback is the island has no protection from a hurricane. I'm not even sure if it's in a known area for hurricanes. Dakota comes up with some funny one liner jokes. LoL.

Maybe the better idea would be to see if there's a similar island you can buy in the Bahamas or off Florida if possible. Have a type thing with hotel and grounds similar to this....put Gee or Syndney in charge (or even better be to have Taylor run the place.) You could be flown in by Dakota and planes could just land on the water from FL. like fantasy island...have a dive school ...swim with nurse sharks...treasure hunts... yacht rentals .... restaurant or a pizza and delivery to all the boats moored nearby.... sounds like a plan!!! Love the Island doodles name.

We stopped by King Lewey's last Feb. for lunch and they actually had a pretty good crowd. Talked to several vacationers that were staying for a week, and others on day excursions. Likely not a viable investment and Ray Cay is close by- however it caters to a different crowd.

the birds are Amazon parrots specifically yellow headed amazons and they are about as intelligent as a 5 year old child and little stinkers. many will bite at the drop of a hat and are very cranky. I know this because I am sitting about 20 feet from my moms right now. we have four parrots.

I'm tell you, Dakota is a pretty lady....sometimes shy....but you know what they say about women who are quiet.....silent rivers run deep...!! Dakota, How does sailing compare to flying? Which is more difficult? Which do you like more? There are advantages to both? You would hate me as a flying student. It does not come naturally to me. My instructor was always yelling at me. Hope you don’t have many students like me! Wishing you the most that life has to offer!

Bobby with the Arctic melting at a fast rate, it will change the coast line from the far North to Florida.

There would have to be some serious considerations as to why the islands for sale. It could be lack of visitors or could be an owner wishing to change and get out of the business.

Bobby I see you use the Asus Duo for editing, it's great to have the extra screen. It doesn't really bother me that the keyboard is moved and I always use the mouse on any laptop if I am sitting down to do real work. Another sailing channel i follow uses the same PC.

Bobby, I know this is Sailing Doodles. However, sailing seems to be 1/4 of how you travel. The wind always seems to be opposite of where you want to go. I know you love sailboats. But motoring in a sail cat is as boring as watching paint dry. Have you considered a pure power cat?
