Correct, this is certainly possible. And you can do parallel charging for different mAh/Ah batteries of different manufacturers with different C ratings provided that: 1) Difference in mAh or Ah of both batteries should not be very high. For example two batteries in parallel of 5000 mAh and 500 mAh is not a good idea. It is not impossible but risky. 2) Ensure the voltage of both batteries in parallel should be of same capacity. You cannot have one battery of 6v and other of 48v. This can cause problems during charging depending on voltage being pumped in by the source. This is also one of the reason why point 1 mentioned above is risky as the rate of flow of current from higher potential to lower potential will be at such a higher rate which 6v battery won't be able to handle it and will damage. In a nutshell, for safety just ensure voltage of both batteries are same rating and difference in current is not very high.
@@AniManiac1990 Ensure both batteries are of same volts.. (number of cells in series)... now most of your worries are over. Now, the number of cells in parallel is what differentiates them in terms of capacity. In general there shouldn't be any problem but during high C or high load usage may end up doing a wear & tear of 16Ah battery more and leave 50Ah unused by 66% all the time. A time will come after a few years that you'll have to replace the 16Ah battery much earlier than the 50Ah one. So this was about the discharge problem. Now talking about charging, if you're slow charging both batteries (10% of mAh) there will never be any issues. But in case of fast charging, you should always choose the lowest charge current of either of the cell or battery pack as recommended by its datasheet and never should exceed this limit. Many small things also contribute to how the battery packs are made.. say for example the resistivity (not resistance) which is P=l/A.. correct wire gauge must be used to avoid heating issues if high amperage is being drawn. A specific gauge wire can be used for 16Ah but not for 50Ah. The 50Ah of 1C could deliver 50 amps and 16Ah of 3C can give 48 amps. So technically you can hook 98 amps load to your parallel bank but it'll heat up the 16Ah cable to a 3 figure centigrade and you don't want that.. also your 16Ah battery will die in merely 20 mins. Even if you're using Li-ion batteries of different mAh but same volts, it is always advisable to place the cells in such a particular fashion to keep the overall pack balanced and that too after using a BMS. So technically if you have 100 cells with all different capacity starting from say 1500mAh all up till 3200mAh, how are you going to arrange them. What you do is to first arrange all the cells in ascending order of their capacity. Say you want to build a powerwall of 20 cells in parallel and 5 in series.. you take 10 lowest capacity and 10 highest capacity to make your first parallel row... and you keep moving on.. at the end you'll see you don't have a heavy variation overall. Rest an active balancer can take care of without putting much strain on the cells.

Par bhai theory mein hamne toh ye padha he ki agar different voltage rating ki battery ko agar parallel mein ham connnect karte hein toh....unke andar ek potential difference create hoga jis wajah se high voltage battery apna current low voltage bali battery ko dega.......aaise battery ko ham parallel mein connect nhi karna chahiye
