Should we pray for the unsaved? 

I really love you and your family. I hardly ever comment but I just want you to know I got saved, borne again about a year ago.. and you were my teacher...

I also want to pray for the saved that are also lost...

As you mentioned towards the end, when i pray for unsaved people, i pray that someone comes into their life or imagine that someone influential comes into their lives or they have some sort of life experience that has them thinking. One concern I have about talking to someone about salvation is having the wisdom to explain any questions they have. Wisdom is something i pray for, if the opportunity arises that i can answer someones questions correctly and effectively enough.

Thank you Lord for your truth. I pray as a Mom he will give me boldness and the holy spirit will lead me in sharing the gospel.

My devout Catholic loved ones LOVE those two verses: Matt 16:19 and John 20:23 - they say those verses each prove that Peter is the first pope and that we need priests to go to for the sacrament of confession. It breaks my heart like nothing else because they stand very firm on their doctrine which is false. I know it's false because the Bible does not reaffirm anywhere that their doctrine is correct. Ultimately, their final authority is the Church and not God's word. Because, they believe, the RCC wrote the Bible. I continually pray for their salvation and I also pray the Lord use me for someone else's loved one who needs to hear the gospel. My family is a beautiful, moral, loving family but they definitely have no love for God's word since their Tradition trumps it. They don't listen to me because I'm not "holy" - for I lost their respect 25 years ago when I didn't stay a virgin until I married and that I left the RCC in my early 20's to pursue New Age teachings. God did a miracle in me 7 years ago when I first began reading the King James. I hated it at first because the first verse someone shared with me was Jer 17:9-10 (our hearts are wicked). My repulsion lead me to searching and then I finally surrendered and got saved! Every day I am very grateful God saved me from all the false beliefs I held onto dearly all my life. He gave me a love for His word and I am very repulsed by false doctrine. Thank you for this video!!

There are times I pray that God would bind back the evil surrounding a person so that they may have a chance of peace in their lives to consider the gospel message and come to a saving faith in CHRIST. There's a spiritual battle going on at certain moments when I enter a room or place I feel it. If I use scripture in a conversation most of the time tention tends to lesson or go away completely. But then other times it is crazy. So I have come to the conclusion it is not a formula but it completely means relying on the power of the blood of CHRIST in all that we do and say. We do good to those who hate us by the blood of HIM who loved us. Being selfless is incredibly hard on your own strength infact it is impossible with a 100% result. Thank God for HIS grace.

God bless you all. Ontario Canada is locked down uh again?! I attended a church service Wednesday at 7pm and it hit me hard the pastor read from and spoke on Obadiah 1-12 and on pride and went to Luke 18 9-14 and other verses and I realized I was not dealing with things properly in my life. God sent me there! Holy Ghost in action! I asked in prayer that I be baptised and they told me sometime in the summer :( I trust God. On leaving the church and walking home a man was in the road sitting there in one of the lanes could barely see him it was dark- he was inhaling a can of air or some sort of compressed air-gas that cleans gadgets of dust and such. A lady ended up pulling up behind and putting on her lights as she was worried someone would not see him and hit him. It broke my heart knowing he could've died right there in front of me. I laid my hand on his as he is laying on his back brain scrambled by what he just did to himself and prayed for him in Jesus. Strangely the man that phoned 911 vanished. I turned away and he was gone. The man got right up walked inside his halfway house like nothing happened and then the police came and told us we could leave. I went and seen my son not long after and I apologized to him for an incident a day earlier over a video phone call and I know it was the Spirit leading me 100%. I really would love to be baptized asap. I'll continue reading learning praying and such :) I love you all. This is excellent!! I would like to expound a little more on 1 Tim 2:1. For those that would argue that you can pray for the salvation of all men because of verse 4, praying for all men must be tied in to sound doctrine. All the verses you shared previously are perfect scriptural examples of how to pray for the "salvation" of others, by praying that the Lord would send people to share the gospel, etc. Faith does not come by prayer; faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Again, excellent instruction here.

I pray daily that God will wake up my adult kids and other lost sheep and let them know he is real . I taught them about the way when they were young but life has changed their beliefs. I also ask God to help me to become more pleasing to him and help me to make others know he is real.🙏I have always been confused about the "all the creatures" part....I have never had opportunity to ask anyone about that,could you explain it in future video?if we are to preach to all the creatures does that mean Angels can come in the form of creatures/animals? God absolutely knows what would work towards bringing each person to a saving knowledge of Christ, if it were possible, to move them to repent towards God and his supreme authority. When each person stands before God Almighty he/she will answer to the Lord for resisting the will and work of God in his life. Resisting the Glorious light of Christ all the day long. We are all without excuse. I thank the Lord daily! Daily for bringing me to a place where I called out to him and he saved me. Brought me into his kingdom and family. Thank you Jesus for making it possible to be saved and not damned forever and ever.

God will not violate our will, but he can bring about circumstances that influence our changing of mind. He never violated Jonas will but he created a circumstance in which Jonah became willing

Waooooooo I had never heard this in all my Christian years. What you explain makes sense but is difficult for me as I have always been taught to pray for the unsaved. I have wondered why God says no one comes to the Son unless the Father drawes him.... and how this fits with my praying for the unsaved.

The info of a passage an the insight is a big factor in relating to other people and I referred to the open door to explain the word of God

Missionary Otto Koning who is known for his "Pineapple story" was rebuffed by a prayer warrior who he asked to pray for the salvation of a particular man in his tribe . She told him, God has heard your prayer and not to keep praying for this man's salvation. The man never became a believer but Otto understood that God respects each person's own will in the matter of salvation. I really appreciate Mike's talk on this subject and whole heartedly agree!

Innocent smiles upon their faces, into our homes they meant to take us, brandishing arms, against us they crumble.

Anytime I cross paths with folks I listen to the spirit of God and when He leads me to have conversation with someone the Lord Jesus comes up quickly. Any other conversation is meaningless. It's awesome to see someone when they get it. When God is drawing them it's easy to present them with Christ.

I have learned that to pray out loud for someone who does not believe in God Almighty in Heaven, or the teachings of Jesus Christ, His only Son, is a fruitless endeavor. I am not a perfect Christian myself, and to present myself as one who is knowledgeable about God Almighty, and His holy Son Jesus Christ, our redeemer, to others is scoffed at, and not generally accepted.Those who have not been brought up in the way that a Christian has, the gentle words and the way to accomplish a hard thing at hand with that gentle instruction and openness; those who themselves had grief and misery taken to them, by the ones who brought them up into the world, is an affront that must be done by a patient person. No one wants to be preached to when they are hurting that way, and shy away from it. By saying to them an open prayer gives the hurt person anxiety as to why the wrong was done to them, and they are confused as to why not the good way was shown. It is a shock to the spirit inside us to learn that we are worthy of others. It is an awe to us receive appreciation. When a person is suddenly proud of themselves for a job well done, let them be proud. It is probably one of the first things they have learned in a good way by us. On the other hand, there is restraint in showing how well we can do together or alone. It takes gentle persuasion and continuation of the good way of learning and contributing easily. What we can do is try to show them the good way by example. Thanks.

Brother pearl. I am very concerned for your soul. I watch you on you tube and i feel you are the best most down to earth preacher i have ever heard. But. I have studied the bible and read from front to back the bible. Every thing i have heard from you i believe is true. I believe that every thing in the bible is true and i follow it. My problem is that every word that Jesus spoke is true. He specify said that “ its easier for a camel to pass thru an eye of a needle than a rich man enter the gates of heaven . How will you enter heaven. Are you not a rich man?

My favorite prayer is: Yahshuah, have mercy on us sinners. I love this prayer because I'm praying for everyone. In The Gospel The Lord told me to love thy neighbor as I would love thy self.

Other than that they know the Word and be saved is it appropriate to pray for the health and other social needs of non-believers.

Not everyone is predestined for salvation. It's hard to accept this in our limited little minds, but it is what it is.

Proverb 21:1 though would suggest to me that God can manipulate the decisions of people. I agree that Calvanism goes too far though. Thank you for the reminder to be witnessing.

I have to say that if anyone doesn’t realize that we are to pray for and approach the lost with Jesus’ promise of eternal life, then they must NOT be reading the scriptures.

Respectfully, praying the gospel not be hindered is good. However, Romans 10:1 Paul also prays for the salvation of his fellow Israelites. Even though we pray for things that are already God's will , he still tells us to pray for those things. in fact I suppose he will only answer prayers that are according to his will. I believe there's a mystery between God's calling and changing hearts and between human responsibility. Somehow both are true. So my son was a baptized supposed believer, but now proclaimed agnostic. My heart is broken. I can ask God to open his blind eyes and hardened hard that he might soften it. I pray God will forgive him, and that prayer is biblical based on scripture. Also will keep sharing the gospel with him whenever I have opportunity and pray others will share with him. But whether God opens his blind eyes or whether my son repents and believes is of course out of my control. I don't believe you can argue / debate anyone into heaven either.

I respectfully disagree! I pray every single day for Jesus to reveal Himself to people, to soften their hearts, open their minds, praying to bind and cast down the deception surrounding the unsaved! I pray to bind and cast down the deception in our skies, so every eye will see His signs in the sun, moon, and stars! Jesus reveals Himself to people all the time, just look at all the testimonies of the newly born again! How did God choose them? I believe it was by prayer, our earnest, loving, and humble prayers asking God to move in the lives of the unsaved!!! Pray everyone, never ceasing, God hears every single prayer!!! Spurgeon believed in Calvinism, but because he can't know who is elect, he preached to all equally. He said that if the elect had some visible stripe so he could tell they were the elect, he would preach differently.

The only pushback I would give is that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart ((Exodus 7-3). It seems God did turn the screws to Pharaoh’s heart.

You should want to pray for the unsaved as difficult as I can be sometimes, but let me answer very easily, think about this, wouldn't it be a awkward conversation if you're up there with God by yourself and God's looking at you and looking for who all you brought with you, and you immediately realize you were being selfish because you didn't take anyone with you. So yes please pray for everyone, the bible is very clear on being nice to our enemies, so YES!! Pray for everyone! The bible also says that doesn't the hypocrites help the rich and nice dressed people but not the poor, another words he's saying don't be like the hypocrites. PRAY FOR ALL FOR THEY MIGHT BE SAVED!

Repentance is not a condition of salvation

But God also says HE draws people to Jesus

John 6:44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him." -Jesus Christ I pray the Father draws others to Jesus but they have a free will. People can accept or reject Christ. I also witness to those I pray for. How can they believe less they hear?

Paul was saved by god, not by man, and all men can be saved by Christ. But its still free will to chose to be saved.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Mark 16:16 caught my attention. He that believes AND is baptized shall be saved..... Why did Jesus include the words "and is baptized"? I am guessing he meant baptized in the Spirit as in what occurreded in Acts 2:1-4. I am looking forward to being baptised by immersion this coming Sunday, May 9th. Thank you.

You said "God doesn't change people's hearts?" What did he tell Moses about Pharoh? That he would harden his heart! What does this say about free will? If God hardens a man's heart, he changes the outcome to what he wants or does he?
