@@png-mafia it’s no where dead at my school. It’s also not everyone’s primary way of communicating. It’s mostly used for people you’ve just met or don’t want to give your number to.

I got it for one month it was cool I put custom backgrounds in all my friends chats everyone loved it. I would use it if it was maybe half or even 3/4 of the price because it didn’t have many useful features
When an app gives so much information about the conversation you're having that you have to use special tricks to not trigger a notification. Just makes texting more stressful
Honestly, i like this. The 2nd biggest reason i hate snapchat is because everyone leaves you on read or delivered for hours for no reason... Instead of just fucking responding, and i think this feature makes that more unappealing. The 1st reason is that snapchat is purely used to send nudes, and pictures of literally nothing and not used for actual conversation.
Idk about the half swiping thing but screenshoting and screen recording they have there own reason and lets just say its not all about Normal messaging rather the nsfw message
Went from being as private as possible with snaps getting deleted upon opening, to having absolutely no control over your privacy anymore. Thanks Snapchat 👍🏼

I hate read receipts with a passion because 9/10 i will open a text then walk away from my phone and forget to respond for a while and it caused so many issues when i was trying to get into dating
you should be able to see when someone half swipes you, because the entire idea behind snapchat is like seeing when people screenshot chat, and chats getting deleted so stuff doesn't get saved and so on. It just shouldn't be locked behind a paywall.
Also the fact you need to pay for Premium to remove the bot. I just downgraded the app (I have Android) and blocked it from a version old enough that it didn't know to hide the option
Fun fact, you can turn off the wifi or data, do that and then delete the app, so that when you reconect to the internet it doesnt send it out that you watched it
i literally just half swipe so i can process what to say without opening it and then thinking before i answer. i have snapchat premium and i don’t even care if someone half swipes. it ain’t gonna affect my life or anything
