Depends whether you are after some rocker or not really. Bents have more rocker, the oblivion on paper will be better for the type of skiing you are talking about because rocker is basically useless for anything other than powder. If you like a more directional ski make sure you mount at the rear of the mounting options or it will feel more parky.

Well Head's after sales came back and have to say I'm impressed. They got back to me quick and have approved a full refund, because they had no stock anywhere in their network or among shops they could obtain from at short notice. I had suspected this after checking myself before contacting them and finding none in 184cm anywhere in the major suppliers in EU. The only thing is obviously this is very unfortunate when you are already on holiday and trying to use these sticks and you come up against a warranty claim. That said, because I went direct to Head to purchase there was no need to have even bigger pain of having to take my product and receipt back to the shop I bought them from. It does make me feel a lot like I would only ever buy direct from manufacturer in the next instance because of this. Imagine if I had bought them from an online shop in another country, painful right. Or a shop in my home country and I'm away on holiday for a month or more trying to use them, or away for a season working!! So what you have to go home to the shop to try and get your warranty claim processed? And while you are waiting for your claim, you are not allowed to either repair the problem, or use the product... fun huh. All good if you live in the same town as you ski and shop for your kit, not so for many though.
