I learned sales by teaching and watching others. I didn't think I could do it but its confidence in selling and having knowledge of the products.

Yeah I'm in high ticket sales and I'm really unhappy where I am, so therefore I made a decision to build a career on data science

Adam, we’ll said brother! In car sales right now. I do well. However, the hours are gruesome and management does not encourage us much. I may just be at the wrong place. I’ve put a lot of thought into it and believe that real estate would be a great fit for me. Any thoughts? I’d greatly appreciate it man!

Job security in sales? Not really

Sales is the highest and lowest paid profession. If your good you’re more valuable than anyone in the company.

@@stocktonking12 yes but there aren't many of those upper echelon sales people...And its very hard to be at the highest level consistently year after year. Why are there so few realtors who have been in the business for 10/20/30+ years?
@ethanbernard7671
@ethanbernard7671 12 дней назад
@@didafm Because good realtors sell multimillion dollar homes collecting six figure commissions each time. A family friend of ours just retired at 36 after selling for 8 years. He averaged his commissions monthly over his career (and yes the latter years when he gained experience and a client base significantly raised the average) but it was around $68K/month. Or call it 800K a year. 8 years of that while investing (especially this past 5 years where he was earning the most) you're talking around the $5 million mark. If he simply allows that to sit in a general market tracking fund by the time he is 65 it will be worth in the neighborhood of $70 million dollars. Unless you want to get on the Forbes list that is plenty imo. And THAT is why good realtors have short careers. And there are some that make even more.

I find that the world is tiring of the best of the best and the most out going and talking type A personalities going into sales… I’m none of the things you listed, but I’m a completely new man at 39, and I have somethjng most so not, conviction, I bet I would do well at sales

I bet you are right. The entire message in this video surrounds the delusion that many have around their ability or lack thereof to excel in sales. If it speaks to you, I encourage you to give it a try

I completely agree. I have worked in a slightly technical sales role(s) successfully for about 10 years. Those old school overly cocky sales people don’t succeed in this line of work. It’s people who are honest, have integrity, do what they say they’re going to do, are passionate about customer service, are interested in a genuinely good product - these are the ones that do well. The bu!!shitters are the ones that fail

I've been going for only 1 day in sales and I already want to leave it. I'll be back, I'm sure I'll leave it before a month

Stick with it for at least 6 months, unless you've discovered that you don't believe in the product or the people
