The video does not tell anything about becoming a CERTIFIED technical writer. There is no license nor exam that makes a technical writer a CERTIFIED tech writer as per the USA or any American / U.S. state that requires licensing for such a job. Tech writing does not require licensing.
My work involves writing SOPs for my company basically I lead all the writing for compliance documents which is part of my work? I'm technically a technical writer correct? What technical degree would help me more online work?
@@latwuniawilliams6630 Yes. If most of your work involves researching processes, interviewing SMEs, and drafting or editing SOPs-- you're a Technical Writer.
I came to RU-vid for a course on Technical Writing - and it takes you to a website with laughable 'certificate' courses. Thanks, but I'll delete these videos and buy a book from a reputable publisher...
