@@idontmindpineappleonapizza9591 That's cause you can't for most flyers. XK M is referring a specific type of enemy that can be knocked down.

I learned that fairly recently too. I got a free temp Erato in IS3. She knocked down those enemies that look like Stingrays or something

There's a new mechanism in chapter 9 which is called the low-altitude hovering, this type of enemy is similar to flying enemy because they are considered aerial enemy and can't be attacked by ground operator. However, after they receive debuffs like stun, freeze, sleep etc, they will be knocked down and turn into ground unit. Example of such enemies includes Dublinn Flying Soldiers, Mandragora

Same here, I love a good snoozer abuser. I hope they add more operators who can synergize with it. It's also been fun to build a sleep'n'stun squad for managing multiple lanes.

I don't plan to build her also because I lack sleeping operators to partner her with and I still have 3 6* operator that isn't max yet

better to upgrade the meta guard if you dont have much resources, 3/4 stars high ground unit are good enough to carry u to late game

The operator with the biggest block count will be targeted. You should know from my Episode 10 overview video. And don't forget there are enemies that can increase someone's block count (those snail like thingy, and the zombie like creature, basically any enemy that are dead and reanimate will have the ability to increase someone's block count).

Nah, there are absolutely bad operators, just not many.

He dropped the gimmik a year ago and now is being more honest at the start with his thoughts instead of putting his real thoughts only at the end of the vid when hes discussing pros and cons So the fact he said yes here these days instead of "no, probably, probably not" is making me wonder about her damage against sleeping enemies

@@broadbandislife not really, in fact they really respected archers and used in battles all the time. They didn't however have archery in the ancient Olympics if that's what you mean

@@zartymophibs The Classical Greeks had an out of control sexual fetish for "run up and spear 'em inna face" hoplite tactics and pretty much actively despised all other forms of warfare. It says a fair bit that with the sole exception of the Cretans they wholesale farmed out military archery to the low-status _psiloi_ (who were kinda shite, being basically the "come as you are" peasant levy rablle) and foreign mercenaries (Scythians were apparently highly regarded). Yes this monomania indeed quickly caused them problems whenever they ran up against people who didn't adhere to their particular playbook.

@@broadbandislife ψιλοι (psiloi) didn't necessarily mean shite, it was used to describe lightly armored soldiers. While it is true that they really liked the manhood of war and fighting face to face that doesn't mean that archers were of lower status

@@zartymophibs You need to read up on Classical Greek history. Some outliers aside their society, politics and culture were dominated by the "hoplite class" of wealthier commoners who actively excluded the lower orders from political participation (except when concessions had to be made in return of naval service as rowers, as during the Athenian thalassocracy - this was roundly condemned by conservatives btw) and could out-vote the aristocrats by sheer numbers. Membership in this group was _de facto_ contingent on ability to afford the necessary war gear; military functions besides the hoplite heavy infantry were very much an afterthought and ranged combat very much delegated to the scorned _hoi polloi_ rabble who might quite literally be able to bring nothing more than a knife and a bag of rocks for throwing onto the battlefield. Archers - _toxotai_ - were very much in that category and usually armed with nothing better than short hunting bows, so their tactical impact was... distinctly limited. Acute lack of proper training and organisation and low motivation certainly didn't help any. Low status as *all fuck.* Mercenary specialists predictably performed far better and were duly held in higher regard, but pretty much aside from the famous Cretan archers and Rhodian slingers were all non-Hellene "barbarians" and duly looked upon by default anyway. Butting heads with other military traditions (particularly the Thracians and Persians) forced some changes and in general led to Greek warfare becoming more versatilely "combined arms" and professionalised, but aside from the _peltastai_ javelin skirmishers (far and away the mode with the lowest skill threshold) impactful ranged combat essentially remained the domain of foreign and mercenary specialists. And still looked upon as "unmanly" and contrary to the macho ethos of the hegemonic hoplite class. And then the Macedonians went and invented the fucking pike explicitly as a hard counter and basically rendered the whole hoplite concept obsolete anyway.
