I just leased the Blazer LT EV with panoramic sunroof and absolutely love it!!! So excited to be rid of combustion vehicles. I'm pretty sure my lease price is less than it would be for a gas vehicle because of all the incentives and rebates. Great job GM its a winner! Also thank you for your review. A couple things to note this trim level doesn't have some of what I consider basics such as: sunglasses holder, universal garage door opener, or dual temperature controls. I believe the RS does have these where the LT does not. But I'm so impressed with the vehicle I made other allowances for these missing conveniences.

I was able to end the term early on a previous lease, 6 months early and still have a reasonable payment! I know the residual is quite high

Looking forward to your video on the Equinox EV. It's the first Chevy i've been excited about in a while. They really killed the Blazer for me with their original pricing strategy and of course all the software issues. Hopefully they dont repeat those mistakes with the Equinox launch.

Still plenty of logistics problems with EV vehicles - I live at an apartment so I have no place to recharge one. Maybe price isn't a barrier because I'd spend $10k in gas over 10 years anyway, vs $5000 to charge it. So as long as an electric equivalent isn't more then $5k greater to buy than the gas version, then EVs aren't more expensive (oh, Blazer EV is $15k more expensive? Ha). Disposal of the battery or how it responds to getting wet in an accident or flood is also a concern. I'd worry about range too, especially if I'm taking a long driving vacation.

I want to. I really do....but Chevy has REALLY screwed up the trims and options this time around. I want a red hot RS AWD WITH the bigger battery and the sunroof and the upgraded sound system and a trailer hitch and the red/black interior....and supercruise. Is that REALLY to much to ask? According the GM....Yes, yes it is. Mary Barra has some explaining to do.

Blazer has an upgraded sound system option? I didn’t see it on the list and Equinox doesn’t have one. I know it’s not much but I like my Bose in my 19 Equinox. Would love the AKG from the new Cadillacs.

@@doc2w534 Bose upgrade for $575. It's pretty much required with the RWD version, as is the $1500 sunroof.

The Frunk blocks the air flows to the AC condenser reduces the AC performance of the car.

Putting the ac condenser at 30 degree with road because of the Frunk will traps the leaf and many others. There is no way it will work as well as 90 degree allows maximum air pressures to the condenser while the car is moving. Just basic physics, little kids understand that. I didn’t say it not going to work but it is not going to work as well, because the system cannot move the heat as fast as having the ac condenser in front of the car.

@@St_JohnYam_Steve that is alot of writing you have here but the plain fact the GM heat pump works very well in the heat of the summer and dead of winter. The battery temputure management is a winner.

@@kelviskelvis7140 I am totally agree, I am not talking about GM their ac work fantastically well, works way better than any ICEs, and EVs that I ever try it. At 120F outside the air that come out from the vent could freeze your arm that how well it works. There are some cars that trying to put the frunk into a small car that already had a tight space in the front that what I am talking about. For the truck is different story you got space, sure you can put the frunk in the front wouldn’t matter.

@@dGooddBaddUgly This is completely subjective, I have owned several types of manufacturers from Toyota, Jeep, BMW, etc. I have extensive experience driving a Model S and a Model Y. They are fun to drive and don't see any junkier than any other car I've owned.

You honestly can Bluetooth your phone and the artwork still shows up and with google maps integrated it works better. I would highly recommend test driving. I thought it was a no deal for me also until I actually checked it out myself instead of just watching a review. Bought one this weekend and have no regrets. And it looks great parked next to my C8!
