Yes, I did and ♥️ it! I use it on my SI joint, low back and my legs. I’m a cyclist and my legs get really tight and sore. When I get sore I stretch, break out the massage gun and the deep heating pad. I get back on the bike sooner. Y’all are great!
I've had mine for over a month and it has been a game changer. Been working on stretching and loosening some tight areas and I've recently seen the most progress ever. Including their massage gun has helped a lot, I believe.
I bought the Bob & Brad one the day you announced so got the early adopter price. If I had paid full price I’d still consider it a bargain. Helps more than any other device - and I’ve got a drawer full - for relief of severe muscle spasms 💯
@@Bozemanjustin Umm... Do you know the meaning of infamous? I realize a lot of people don't!! Definition of infamous 1: having a reputation of the worst kind : notoriously evilan infamous traitor 2: causing or bringing infamy : DISGRACEFULan infamous crime 3: convicted of an offense bringing infamy
I love these guys. I’m an English woman & I’d love for one or both of these to be my uncles. They’d be great to have around at Christmas with their cheesy jokes. They’d also help me out with my back problems as a bonus. Lol. They’re brilliant. I enjoy watching them.
I think I’m going to buy a Bob and Brad and as for a massage therapist, I’m keeping her because not only does she help with assisted stretching and back massage, they also know exactly what to look for
I've listened and read up on your massage gun reviews and I just had to buy one, can't wait for it to arrive on Wed! I wish I could have gotten two so my mom can also use it for her plantar fasciitis as she's in extreme pain but $139 is all I can afford for now. Thank you for your honest reviews
I bought a massage gun a few months ago. The first one was too aggressive and heavy for me. It had a long handle so I could do a good job of reaching areas on my back. But, given I have neck issues, the weight of the gun was too much..just to clarify, I did not use it on my neck, just shoulder area. So, if you are considering buying one, consider the weight and the strength of the gun.
I bought one last year that you guys were demonstrating to give to my daughter for Christmas. It wasn't cheap and it's a good machine with all the attachments. The con was she didn't like it. You can't use it alone very good. You need another person to do the backside of the body. She gave it to me. I've used it a couple of times but it's big and heavy and I don't have a spouse anymore so can't use on the back. I'm going to give it to my sister and her husband because they both go to the chiropractor often. That's my experience with the bigger one you guys had last year. It's not everyone's cup of tea.
@@michaelmcclenon6663 my daughter used to have one that she could prop in the couch cushions and get some back relief. She couldn't do that with the one I bought her.
This was actually a concern of mine although I do have a wife. I thought that when she is not around the the 2 more expensive units would not be easy to use on your own back (even the upper back). However at the same time I would like the added intensity of the largest model.
Late reply, but try a shiatsu massager. I have one you put your arms around through, and I can put it between my back and the office chair. Works great.
@@advancetotabletop5328 sounds good, where do you buy this? Is it a known brand that is easily available and returnable? And on another note, my daughter has a husband that can help her but sometimes people are having pain and need a "treatment" when you can't get to the chiropractor and you're by yourself when the pain is intense.
I would like to enter into the giveaway as this would GREATLY improve my chronic pain issues. I am 32(soon to be 33) and have been dealing with my problems since I was 21. Using my phone, I clicked on the provided URL in description, but nothing is shown under "Giveaways". I was only able click the link to purchase. Oh how my family and I would GREATLY benefit from this, especially when going to a masseuse isn't an option. EDIT: Bob and Brad, I cannot thank you enough for your expertise. You both are immensely inspiring us to change/improve our ailments, practice preventative care, and also protect our bodies from injury while correcting problematic areas. You do so much more for viewers than what I would ever expect, AND you two continue on with humor and humble attitude. Way to go and bless you as the end of the year is ending and 2021 begins!!!!
I LOVE my massage gun! I have to agree with all your cons, especially about getting to the back areas. The one thing that I use my gun for is to massage my plantar fascia area of my foot. Great for after a long walk or run.
Hello Bob and Brad My name is Tyree And my Question is how can I get one of those massage guns and the Electric Hand Massager because my middle and ring fingers on my left hand is stiff and I been watching all of your RU-vid videos
My daughter had guillen barre syndrome which left her pain for the rest of her life. I spent tons of money each money on massages each week. at least 350 a month. Now I got the massager gun hyper X and this has replaced those treatments. I highly recommend the hyper X its worth the money for people with serious pain. Her pain mostly in legs
Thanks to Bob and Brad’s video last year about massage guns, I bought one and I love it! The one I bought is, I think, a Renpho mini. It’s lightweight and easy to use and was much cheaper at about $100 on Amazon. Honestly, it’s the perfect size, I can’t imagine trying to use a regular sized one.
Guys ... check out the RENPHO adjustable massage gun . I got mine last week and my friend just ordered one - the best thing since sliced bread!! The ergonomics of the gun itself is significantly different from the vast majority of other entry-level guns AND the price is definitely right!
On a previous BnB recommendation, I purchased the handheld model... used it regularly, but not excessively, and found it helpful... Unfortunately it did not last - would not keep a charge for longer than 20 seconds... $99 down the tubes! Think twice before purchasing.
I got one of these long handle versions and only ever used it on the back of my shoulders by the inner lower trapezius. Didn't help as much as I thought, but it's very hard to get a good motion at that angle when doing it yourself. I'm kind of giving up on it.
One of my family member is a Parkinson patient. From my own research, I have found massage therapy does help in so many ways. But, would you recommend massage guns for Parkinson patients?
We'll, I decided on the mini to help with plantar fasciitis. Straight out of the box it won't charge. Green light comes on for a few seconds and goes out. Will move on to another brand.
Good timing. Ohhhhh... You think it's just good timing. But NO! the reason that they made this video is because they have micro transmitters in your head that transmit your thoughts straight to the death star! That's right!! THE DEATH STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@mattytripps my aunt heard from her friend's brother's barber's dentist that he has a brother in both the cia and NSA, and he told him that these micro transmitters are also in the covid vaccines. They're upgraded with 5G and cause hallucinations of coriolis effect. They want to push thier spherical earth agendas!
@@mattytripps I learned late in life 😭 they got me with that LTE infused transmitters that are connected to alexa enabled smart devices. I keep getting laundry soap and monsters when I'm close to running out. Alexa is in my head!
Ordered one and it isn’t arriving any time soon. Must ship directly from China, given the foreign tracking info. Too bad. And now I’m getting suggestions to watch every other PT channel selling these things.
They have demo videos on their site that show massage guns used on many different areas of the body. I've watched most of them a d they are pretty good...in my opinion anyway.
Sir,I am from India.. from Tamil Nadu....my father's age was 46.but my father has bended knee....he has uncontrollable pain in his knee....he walk like slightly bended.....plzzzzzzzz..sir ....tell some exercise and treatment for his knee and leg .plzzzzzzzzzz
I ordered this gun on Monday. Its now Thursday and it still hasn't shipped. What's going on? I'm cancelling my order and requesting a refund if it isn't shipped today.
I was hoping for a comment on the power source. Do any of them come with a power cord or rechargeable batteries. The ongoing costs of replacing regular batteries after a few hours of use would be a major "con".
Which model do you think is today the best? I understand that the stall force (the force that you need to stop the movement) and the amplitude of movement are the 2 most important factors... For example the theragun has 16mm of excursion amplitude and a very hight stall force...
I'm a massage therapist and have just taken a class on Lymphatic Drainage--absolutely not DO NOT use this tool for potentially moving your lymph! It would be too aggressive. If you need to move the lymph you use a very light pressure! So light that you just barely move the skin. Find a massage therapist that has taken continuing education classes. (They need more education that what they received in massage school.)
Thanks so much, Karen. Just got notification of your reply. I must have suspected the massage "gun" might be too aggressive. Have been doing the very gentle lymphatic massage you describe, and have had much improvement . .. swelling nearly gone. Thanks, again.
Would you use a massage gun for plantar fasciitis and heel spurs? Also, is there a risk of degrading muscle from over-use? What's your recommendation for duration of use per session?
I often use mine on the bottoms of my feet, it works amazingly well. And I'm no doctor, but youd have to massively overuse it to break down muscle. I might even say that's impossible.
@@ryannachtrab Good to know... definitely looking for relief on my feet. My deep tissue masseuse always warns about prolonged deep massage because of how it can affect the muscle fibers and degrade the tissue. Good to know this doesn’t strike that deep... 🎉
I have psoriatic arthritis, I get on all the nerves (and joints, and muscles, even my head and my jaw) and "beat on" them 😭😂 the pain from my gun thumping on them distracts from the pain eminating from my pain receptors
Just found you guys while searching for stretches for hip tendonitis. I start PT in December but wanted to get a head start because the pain is impacting my daily life. Would these devices be helpful for my particular issue?
I tried entering the giveaway through 2 different web browsers and the form doesn't show up. A lot of blank space in between links to purchase massagers.
Hey can anybody help me? I have a little tight muscles in my lower back. Should I stretch, massage, stretch, then strength.i just don’t know if I should stretch before the massage or after,or both?any help would be appreciated
The rapid movement doesn’t allow the muscle to relax. It just jabs and shakes the muscles. Might be okay for blood flow in the short term but I haven’t found them to be worth the time. You will never get a knot or tight muscle To release with a massage gun
My husband is self employed he remodels people houses so he has broken down his body that is why we go to chiropractor and my husband loves the massager we just can't afford them.we just can't go to chiropractor allot. Hope to win thank you!
it is so disappointing to hear from a professional physical therapist at 2:40 saying " go to a MASSEUSE". Well, I was expecting something like a "massage therapist " or something similar.
Yes, the correct term would be Massage Therapist. This is what is stated on my License and when I sign my name on documents/business card LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist.
