Ive got a bmw 325d (3.0) so would like to go back to petrol and have something fun. I've only got 1 car so whatever I have needs to be a good daily, about 800 miles per month commuting to work with a lot of motorway. So a good vid for me would be reliability (any failures/common faults) fuel consumption, servicing costs. But thats just me, I wouldn't expect you to out a vid out like that since honestly i don't think that sort of vids attracts viewers. I know a lot of big youtubers get the views in by having interesting cars that they just throw money at and modify for big hp, but personally I'm more interested in what makes a good daily Edit: Just saw your vid on fuel costs👍

@@drums4sticks444 the 290 has a louder exhaust from stock and with a mid res delete you’d be happy. However, you’d want a scorpion exhaust for better sound. I don’t know anything about the Scirocco R sorry!
@@tootalltodrive I noticed that from reviews I’ve seen it sounds crazy the 290 and I was thinkin of a full turbo back exhaust system for it either cobra or scorpion one which Evers best I’m gonna give it more research and see which is all round best scirocco R or seat Leon 280/290

@@tootalltodrive It's indeed a huge difference compared to the uk, but this is just buying after the purchase you get to deal with Road taxes/insurance fuel. Everything adding up and the car almost seems undriveable for young drivers and sometimes insurance company's wont even allow you to own a car like this or you are doomed and pay alot of money monthly to get it insured.
You took long enough to mod or start talking about it ..lol I had mine for 3 years in may and had the milltek exhaust bought before I got the car. 🤣. Enjoying the videos a lot more though. If yours had the mib2 it can have seat connect. I was lucky to have that but still didn't have the licence from dealer. 😠
Yeah, I asked when I picked up the car about CarPlay but no luck... I mean the tyres, brake discs and pads are barely a “mod” but could be doing more haha

@@rhyslam5617 People say they are useless and I’ve heard some reports of people saying they lasted 10k miles. It’s a load of rubbish! The clutches are absolutely fine, I have 50k miles on mine with no bothers whatsoever. If you’re tuning and drag racing every time you go to the shops and treating the car like some joy rider then of course there will be issues
You weren't tempted to remap it then lol they're an animal stage 1. 360bhp. Though manual cars usually need a clutch upgrade as the standard ones struggle with the extra torque. Also don't buy Brembo brakes from Euro Car Parts. They're utter dogshit lol.
TooTallToDrive I was only half inch out I thought 6ft 7 n half my son is 6ft 6 n you look a bit bigger. Good video by the way your car sits well on the wheels. Some road tests say the 280 is better than the 300 as the 300 has too much talk steer
