to all of ones who want this car .I am 15 years old this car is absolutely my dream car and i would say that just dream and work hard one day we will get it
I remember my cousin said he was going to buy this car. we were jrs in high school and thought it was just one of those day dreaming conversations. he saved money for a few years and in 2006 he found a car for sale for only about 21k. he jumped on it and when he met the owner it was a recent widow who's husband purchased the car and pretty much had it stored, it only had 7k miles. she just wanted to sell it to someone who was as excited about the car as her husband was and my cousin bought it and had it for 13 years. I still remember that engine whine and he kept it completely bone stock. a beast of a car.
I started following you right before or right when you purchased this. Man, I can't believe it's been two years already. You bought it just in time before the price hikes on cars and general. Plus these are very sought after cars. I'm glad you are still enjoying it and rightfully so. I appreciate you doing this update, and it's like I get to revisit watching you pick the car up the first time with dad. I remember that video.
Glad your dream came true and the life's lessons you have learned along the way. I have an 04 cobra, oringal owner, mystic chrome convertible. Completely original all the way, even the wiper blades. Tires were replaced under warranty.
Bought my 04 cobra 2 months ago and just love it couldnt be happier. 26k miles same color as yours. Had some tuning issues when I first got it, actully broke down on me about 20miles after driving it. But got that all figured out now
The 03/04 Cobra Terminator is timeless. It still looks amazing and stands out 20 years later. Although the new Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, etc come with more HP IMO none look as sexy as the Terminator!
That’s awesome man, they are great cars, try to get one as stock as possible, mileage matters but not as much. If you can also try to get a late production 03 or get an 04, just because you want the updated 9 threads cylinder heads. good luck!
Bro I was looking at Cobras Pre-Covid and I saw a few in pretty good shape for about 23-30K. Now Post-Covid 2023 similar condition Cobras are about 50K. I beat myself in the head every time I search for Cobras in my area or around the US. At this point i'm almost convinced I will never own one. 30K was doable, but 50K... out of my reach at this point in time.
@@stephenrogers5593 At this point I'll probably settle for a nice looking Bullit or a Cobra from the late 90's to about year 2001 maybe. I hate the car market right now with so much passon lmfao.
@@IamTony666 _At this point I'm just going to swap my 03 gt & make my own cobra clone. Someone at a recent car meet had a v6 mustang that was swapped with an 04 cobra motor & rearend even had a stock tr3650 5 spd & it paired with the terminator motor. It costs around $4-8k for the motor, $2-3k for the rear-end (not totally necessary) & about $5k for the 6spd t56 magnum. I only paid $5,500 for the car & I just want the terminator driveline anyways lol... screw paying $30-40k in 2024 just to have some fun when I can do it for a fraction of the price. When the 2v blows or when I find a motor that's when I'm starting._
I bought my first mustang in 2010. It was a silver GT. I loved that car. But I always wanted a terminator. I am getting close to finally having enough money to purchase one. My wife approved! Now I need to just wait for the right one and the right timing.
Man I’m happy for ya bro. If I were to ever make a video like this it would be word for word with the same car. I’m 31 and have wanted a terminator since I was a teenager. I’ve had plenty of toys and still do but I just can’t afford a cobra yet and it breaks my heart. At this point I feel like I want it as bad as air and no matter what I do I can’t get closer! One day, and I’ll cry tears of joy for days just staring at it. Beautiful ride man enjoy.
Thank you brother! one day you'll have your 03/04 Terminator , I know the feeling and I could relate 100 percent. Trust me the universe works in mysterious ways and if you really want one, one will find its way to you.
Thanks brother! A new video is coming soon, unfortunately I haven’t been able to film due to personal circumstances but I’ll be back soon with a regular upload schedule. I appreciate your support and sticking with the channel 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I waited 11 years to get my Terminator. I couldn't be more satisfied. My 9 year old son has his eye on it now. He's going to have to wait a longer than 11 years to get it.
Man I have a 03 DSG with 48k miles. The one everlasting svt owned. Also a 19k mile 04 mystichrome. They are just such special machines. Both unique in their own right. But that feel when driving is unlike any other.
@@Joker56ace still at Ford. Ended up being the frps... I replaced it when it went down. Turns out the spare I had was defective and reading .2v... instead of 5v like normal. But had no way of really testing it bc the lot it broke down in needed it moved b4 I could. Ford is swapping the frps today and changing the oil twice bc smelled little like fuel. I'm sure they also fouled out my brand new plugs. So going to lip her home and Change plugs once again.
@@Joker56ace yes the dsg has like 48k miles and the MC is like 19k miles. Both are super clean. I just did a pprv delete on the mystichrome. If you're ever close to TN let me know and we will cruise.
I love it!!! In 2020 I almost purchased a red SVT COBRA convertible but lost out due to someone overbid it. May I ask how much did you pay for yours? Beautiful car!
Hey man just do you! Bro don’t focus on trying to change so much. It kinda made me sad when you said you were trying to change your Spanish accent. I know what you mean but it’s just RU-vid man. We all love you regardless, it’s who you are! Especially in this day and age folks are very accepting of a WIDE range now! That’s for sure! I’ll say it again, great work, car looks awesome, I like the more oem look. And it makes me happy that you are happy with your purchase and finally made a dream come true from growing up watching them everyday. I did the same but just figured I’d never probably own one haha
Thanks brother! Your words really encourage me to keep pushing forward man. It’s true man, it’s just that I know that sometimes it’s hard for people to understand what you are trying to say when there is a thick accent, tbh I don’t think that I’ll ever be able to get rid of my accent, sure it can be better but it’s really tough tho. I really appreciate your feed back on the videos tho, my videos sometimes take a long time to make and edit so It makes happy that people like you that really care enjoy them. I truly appreciate your support brother much love from a cobro 🐍❤️
@@TheMGChannel well I think the accent makes it that much better!! God bless you brother! I thought the same exact way about my car with what you said in the video. Seeing the steering wheel, looking at the seats and just the whole experience. That’s what it’s about! The speed and power is just topping on the cake!
This is also my dream car! Watching you inspires me. I have a wonderful mustang now and I never plan to get rid of it! It's not a Terminator, but I have owned and lost too many mustangs in my 44 years on this planet! If the opportunity ever presents itself for me to own a Terminator I may go for it...until then I'm happy with my '94 GT convertible with it's many power enhancing mods!!
I am currently looking at a 03 car with 51,000 miles. Rebuilt engine because he melted a piston so he had to have the cylinder bored 0.020. Will that ruin "integrity and or value" of the 4.6? I am just getting into these cars and am not sure what to make of a motor that has been bored. Thanks for the video, super helpful!
Your car is basically the same setup as me. I have a 04 with the same mods. What pumps are you using? I’m using SVT Focus Pumps, and I’m 80 percent duty cycle. Also, I see your in FL, I’m in Orlando .
I’m running the DW fuel pumps, they are also E85 compatible. I’m the treasure coast area in FL, you should pass by one day and meet up with the cobras we have here 🙏🏻
