Should You Buy Corinne Tan? Pros and Cons

Corinne is such an awesome doll. I have her and love her! I thought it was funny that the things you don't love about her, are actually some of my favorite things. Like her blue hair, and her leggings. I think the blue in her hair is very well done. And I am OBSESSED with her leggings! I need them for myself! But then also, I hate the white sweater she came with lol

I just bought Corinne, and I love her! Shes my first girl of the year! My other dolls are historicals except for my one TrulyMe. I love her so much and I think shes gorgeous! Thank you for your video!

I just got my first AG doll 3 days ago and I picked Corrine. I love her so much.

Thank you for this video! I’m a little on the fence about Corinne myself. I do not have any Asian dolls in my collection yet, and I definitely want my next doll to be Asian. I’m thinking Corinne or a Jess mold, like #84. I like how unique Corinne is, but I like the lightest skin tone on 84.

Yay I love this video! Corinne is so cute🥺it’s really hard to not buy her…. I actually like her blue hair. More than I did when I first saw her. As someone who makes Agsm's I look for dolls that will work for characters I have in mind, right now I’m try to get more skin tones and boy dolls so I’m not going to get her… Right now anyway.😀 I somehow don’t have a medium skin doll, I thinking of getting 62. I love your videos. I have her. When I saw her pictures I was disappointed because I don’t like color either but got her anyway because I have a cousin named Corinne and she is so unusual. I was surprised that I like her hair. I always hated Wellie Wishers but I got Gwynn. She is so adorable. I love when dolls takes me by surprise.

I was unsure about Corinne because of here colored hair. I can never see myself getting her but see is kind of growing on me! (Like all AG dolls do😂)

I have Corinne too! I like her highlights(my favorite color is turquoise) and the way her book addresses racism towards Asian Americans(being an Asian American myself I can relate)

One other type of potential reason for buying / not-buying which was not mentioned is customization. I have gotten rather re-obsessed with AG since finding an artist online who repaints and customizes the dolls, and I have to confess, I got Corinne primarily because I wanted her as a base for making a (Disney's) Mulan doll. I don't consider myself a "serious" collector (as yet??) -- I have a #4 Asian doll who is my primary doll, and have lately acquired a handful of others (3 or 4) whom I likewise wish to transform into various favorite book or movie characters. Although... I possibly may get another, “standard” Corinne later, just to have her “as herself”. I agree with you about the colored hair, and the leggings of the meet outfit, but clothes can be changed and hair can be re-wigged. So the only real con for me is her eyes; because they are a different size, they cannot easily be swapped out.

I think Corinne is such a unique doll, both in looks and story line, so she was a must have for me. I successfully resisted Kira, she didn't hold much appeal. I collect as a hobby and for therapy, LOL. It's fun, and mainly I'm trying for a diverse collection.

In my opinion…. Corinne is cute but like, I don’t know I have mixed feelings about her. I do see her in my collection though.

She is such a nice doll, but I just still won't change my not liking for the not natural hair colored dolls. I don't know, but no offense to anyone who likes these kind of dolls. In my point of view she is really adorable, and super cute!

Great video! I haven't bought her and I don't think I will. I have 6 dolls (2 Josefina molds, one Addy mold, one Sonali mold, one Jess mold & one Classic mold) and I've decided that if a mold is only available in one or two dolls, I won't buy them (so no #4, Kaya, Nanea, Corinne, Marie Grace, Joss, Makena, boy dolls). If they come out with another Joss mold and she's unique to my collection, I might consider it (I don't need another doll with brown hair and brown eyes and no freckles). I like that my dolls fit nicely in my childhood doll cradle and I don't want to crowd them. They look comfy now. :)
