As someone who has worked in retail for over 15 years, it's the last 4-6 digits on the barcode that matters. The beginning numbers don't matter.

I never trusted EBAY but I'll give it a try and see. I heard horrible stories from them that EBAY Is bad news with their products, Glad you brought that up because always been sceptical about them. thanks for the video and the tip, I really appreciate that. Take care

Your dogs are lovely - but one of them definitely smokes too much . Great vid - very useful . Although I’ve not seen a huge number of fakes , I’ve found that they are quite easy and obvious to detect - especially when compared with the original. I have a fake Fahrenheit parfum and the differences are easy to see - the writing is crooked , cap is lighter and doesn’t snap on, glass is gnarly , box is different , even without the original Dior to compare with - you can see the quality is substandard . The juice however is surprisingly good - at first comparison, although I’ve not really tested it further . Thankyou tho - useful stuff . Cheers 🥂

You need to read their negative reviews. There are too eBay sellers who are selling fakes. The average person has no idea they’re buying a fake. However there’s usually a few enthusiasts like us that will give them a negative review.

I bought 3 bottles of angel perfume on eBay only to have 3 bottles that don’t smell alike nor smell anything like angel. When I compared them to my empty bottles of store bought angel, the eBay bottles smell nothing like angel or each other, the fragrance faded really fast from one, one isn’t bad but isn’t angel. Even though I I buy my perfume in majore dept stores and perfume stores in the mall, a lot of malls closed after Covid. When I smell the imitations in a dollar store and cvs, those are closer to angel than the eBay bottles. From what I read to day when researching eBay and fakes, if you buy lower than wholesale prices, it’s fake also tester aren’t allowed to be sold on eBay, but they sell them. The other big fake on eBay are people selling knock off purses fro designers and brands. Just because they say leather, they are fake man made materials that smells unlike leather, they paint the side of the strap, if you scratch leather it looks like your skin when scratched but plastic puckers. eBay sells a lot of counterfeit goods

I think I fell for a perfume scam this week. In hindsight, if a deal seems too good to be true, it likely is and I have 75 perfume samples coming in the mail for less than 50 cents apiece. I also ordered a mystery box. That is real but if the reviews are accurate, I am receiving a tiny chain saw and a spool of 3-d printer material? 😂
