How is your hot throw? I've been using the Freedom Coconut wax and following the instructions. The cold throw is great, but hardly a hot throw. I saw a video about this type of wax with another candle maker, and she said to try heating to 185 degrees. I will know in a couple of weeks.
I've had a really hard time wicking with the coconut wax from these guys. I'm doing a three wick tumbler. I've made a ton a testers and tried multiple wicks. All fail. The problem with using this wax is your don't find many people using it. There doesn't seem to be a community to ask questions and get tips from. I heat mine to 185 and pour between 140-150. My problem is jars getting too hot.
@therealunclep Are you using too big of a wick size maybe? Did you try hpsp wicks or aroma lite wicks? If using multiple wicks, try going down in size. A nice 1/4 - 1/2 inch melt pool is ideal.
