This unboxing / review video is comparing a Zephyr single zone beverage center to an XO dual zone wine and beverage center. Is there a reason why you didn't purchase an XO single zone beverage center instead of dual zone? If you had done that, comparing Zephyr to XO would have been more useful. You made quite a few comments about how the design of the Zephyr is better and more spacious but really what you are appreciating about the Zephyr is the single zone layout and you are less thrilled with this particular XO model's dual zone layout. If you had reviewed a single zone XO model (e.g. XOU24BCGSR) then you probably would have found it to be just as spacious as the Zephyr model (PRB24C01BG). The right side of the XO wine+beverage is intended for wine bottles while the left side is intended for soda, beer, etc. That's why the temperature on the left side can be adjusted as low as 34F but the temperature on the right to only 41F. Using the Zephyr single zone refrigerator for both wine and soda/beer/etc means that all of your beverages will be at a similar temperature. Do you want your wine to be 34 degrees? Doubt it. Do you want your soda and beer at 41 degrees? Probably won't be as satisfying as at 34-37 degrees. I definitely prefer the Zephyr wine holder shelf design. I agree that the XO wine holder shelf might run into issues with narrow bottles. Thanks for showing the back of the two refrigerators. It looks like XO has done a better job of insulating the copper refrigerant lines and using tie wraps to secure the insulation. The Zephyr refrigerant lines appear to have 4-8 inches that are not insulated and I only see one tie wrap. Did you keep either or both of these 2 models? If so, how do you like them? Are you using them under counter or stand alone? How noisy when the compressor is running? How well do they keep their temperatures compared to what you select in the control panel? Do the doors seal well or is there air leakage around the glass or rubber seal? Are the magnets in the rubber seals strong enough so that if you swing the door shut it stays closed?
