odie will be op again when new season starts, due to the way True Dmg scales with HP

Odie will probably shine again in the next season in the early and mid game. But yeah, overall I agree, Odie feels like the unit that lost priority the most.

@@seltheus9447 hey im quite new to the game, could you explain why "new season" will be somehow impactful? is there some kind of reset mechanic or anything? could you please explain the general idea behind "season system" in AFK Journey? Thanks in advance :D

@@henridenafel hey👋🏻 sure, in short season progress is separate for each season. So basically everything gets reset to 1. Afk stages, dreamworld etc. Meaning you go through all Dreamworld boss iterations again from the start. And during this season Dreamworld Bosses were tuned differently to the base game, where true damage only reached its full potential towards the end. Up to that point Odie ended up being very strong for bossing before Endless Mode. To offset the possible worry about the reset. While I'm not a big fan of it myself, the upside is the resets also include rewards. So AFK stages will give diamonds and invite letters again up to a point(probably 1200 again like this season). Dreamworld bosses will give their rewards again etc. So while there are negatives(for me especially equip and mythic charms), at least each new season will give a nice influx of rewards again.

I personally would keep pulling her because getting a legendary is random what one you get. there is also a chance people miss Lily May banner or don’t have the resources right now to put in it.

My Marilee is paragon 2 ! So no matter what she will be ok lol. She’s maxed out

Thanks for the video, I was wondering the same before, my lily may is one copy away from s+, but I've spent everything on her and right now I'm not sure if I'll get the last copy, marilee is almost at s+, soon I'll get her copies too. Guess I'll keep using marilee until I can level up lily mays weapon

it's not cheaper in the all heroes gacha given that you won't get lily may everytime so it's more expensive actually. and why drop one for another? I use them both whenever I can. not everyone has celehypos maxed out afterall for them to have 1 hypercarry

I’ve kept Marilee on my wishlist because someone told me getting her copies for paragon is more value then putting another lightbare who would you suggest putting in that spot? Do I keep marliee or am I slotting in a korin or walker

@@rainny2297 korin should be on the second slot of you lightbearer wishlist, together with marilee. To replace marilee I don't know what you should use, I currently have lucius, mostly for the crystal beetle boss

@@viniciussousa9791 I already have korin s+ but should I leave him in to get him to paragon? My Lucious is M 8 away from m+ but a lot of people I’ve talked to say Lucius will go down in value since this season a lot of his value comes from the season skill and if that’s changed he won’t be as good
